I posted a topic last night or us maybe being champions today some people didnt like it others didnt seem to mind i just think its a bit unfair if topics are removed without telling the person who submitted it???

I thought this forum was peoples opinions???

I don't know the specific topic you are talking about as I was out last night however my rules are pretty clear in that I don't expect moderators to have to explain their actions simply because they are busy as it is and they don't have time to justify every action they take.

That is the way it has always been and the way it will always be. I trust their decisions.

was that the topic saying chelsea are goin to win? how come theres another topic called Nervous Wreck Club. surely bluewilky is just trying to stay positive like i am.

If that is the case it sounds more likely to me that the post has been merged with an existing one. We do that to avoid having duplicate threads. Try searching for some of the text in your post and you may well find it.

Thanks loz i can accept that just disapointed as i didnt think it would cause offence, it was just a bit of optimism. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I'm assuming it might have been merged with some other thread. That happens all the time when a new thread is started that deals with something related to an older and longer thread.

That was me and my tongue was firmly in my cheek! I'm just of the nervous superstitious variety and made a joke out of seeing someone saying this time tomorrow we could be champions...sure it was correct, but I don;t like to tempt fate...COME ON YOU BLUES

The problem with a topic about us almost having won the title already is that it tend to jinx us and people don't want to celebrate too early.

Let's not forget last season when we won 3-1 against Pool in the Champions League (think it was 3-1 anyway) and someone made a topic about who we would face in the next stage. People didn't like it then either and said it would jinx us.

Liverpool then went up 2-0 against us in the 2nd leg. We made it through in the end anyway, but it was a nerve wrecking game.

Better to be cool and celebrate when it's all over instead.

Besides, if you make a topic now about how the title is ours already and we end up losing then you will look like a complete a*se :)
