Mourinho ready for Madrid

Featured Replies

In yesterdays Interview Jose said he wont be staying at Inter and he is ready for new challenge.

And most probably by next weekend he would be Madrid coach replacing Pellegrini.

Madrid with CR7,Kaka,Alonso couldn't do anything special last season...but with Mourinho going there things can change hugely....what say guys....Can he create another Era of Successful Galacticos there??

Real without good coach will not be a good team. Mourinho is right for them.

Yes..although Pellegrini was good with them..they failed to win any worthy silverware.

But with Mourinho at helm they are serious contenders in Europe now...how Mourinho handles remains to be seen and would be interesting.

If he goes to Spain he will have to topple Barca within 2 seasons (at the most if he is lucky), a huge challenge, even with those players Madrid already have, I can see him going to Madrid, but I wont be suprised if he leaves within a year, trophiy less.

this season even Pellegrini kept the pressure on Barca till the very end of season.

both El Classicos proved to be decider in the end ,as Barca overcame RM in both matches.

But if Jose starts new trend of so called unattractive football at Madrid they might eventually have some success .

Real Madrid accepting an unattractive style? Is the temperature in hell already dropping?

Would you bet against him? My money would be on Madrid winning the title in his first season.

Just like Chuck Norris, with Jose anything is possible :(

We have too play very good football next season in CL. Real will be very dangerous.

I hope we don't meet them in Knockout stages...we can manage in final I guess[very Optimistic :(].

TBH I can't see us getting the CL final for a few seasons unless we are very lucky. This current team is past their prime IMO, with other teams in europe about to reach their peak.

On another note, I don't feel like Inter are a team to fear anymore without Mourinho. They may still clean up in Serie A, but not in europe I imagine.

Agreed. The duel between the newly-refreshed attacking force of Barcelona and the newly-defensive and probably slightly shellshocked force of Real Madrid slugging it out will be great.

Yeah..Barca definitely got best Young attacking force in world....Messi,Pedro and Krkik..and with Ibra scoring few for them and now the addition of Villa makes them stronger.

Jose against Barca..La Liga just got more interesting .

I didn't say I expected hm to be there for years. I said somehere else that I can easily see him winning the title, leaving and then Barca winning it back - cue Jose pointing out Madrid never losing the title when he was in charge

And even if Real win expect him to say your Barca isnt my Barca.Your Inter isnt My Inter.

League is easy now but my days were different.

in My time Barca had players like Messi,Iniesta etc...:(

But Madrid won fcuk all again9even thought Barca were tied up in Europe until the final, and every year that goes by without them winning major silverware, the presurre gets higher and higher, the patience gets thinner and thinner, managers get less and less time.

I'm not saying Jose cannot go to Madrid and achieve success, I'm saying to knock Barca off the top of the league summit next May and/or win the CL is a big ask, it will be his hardest job to date, and maybe his shortest ?

From what we have seen of him so far..I think the guy likes challenges very much.....thats why even though Inter would have been safe job for him and even knowing history of all sackings at Madrid he is game for it....

Right now as he said he wants to win titles with 3 different clubs which is record in itself...If he does that i.e.win CL ....he would step down by himself I guess .

No I wouldnt bet against him doing it either, but you must agree that out of all his jobs to date, toppling Barca in la liga would be his sweetest achievment simply because it would be the hardest. The expectation would be higher, if he doesnt succeed in his first season do you think Madrid will do a Chelsea ?

Would it be that hard? Madrid weren't far behind them this season and the main weakness in the Madrid side is shipping bad goals and also getting beaten by Barca themselves - who better to put a stop to that than Jose?

If Madrid draws First Blood in El Classico expect them to win it...Mourinho would definitely kill game at the point Madrid gets lead.

We've got very strong team which can win CL this season!
