I hope not. He's played twice in the league, I think (once when he started against QPR when he was outstanding, and against Stoke, again excellent) so I don't see why he should go on loan. He's a wonderful asset to have, he's like Ivanovic in that Ivan is a CB that can play RB, and Hutch is a RB that can play CB.

If Paulo stays, which I think he will, then this makes sense. I think he's still recovering from a knee injury, so sending up North to be kicked about Elland Road doesn't exactly make much sense

I think he should be given a chance to stay and prove himself. Ferreira going will leave us with Bosingwa and Ivanovic who are both excellent first-choice RBs and Hutchinson, who can cover for them. Whether he would be second or third in line will depend entirely on his performances, but if what they say is true, he should be ready to test himself.

Agree with Virosh, wait for a loan move until the end of the summer, if he definitely hasnt made the first team

But I would like to see him loaned out within England. If we need him for fullback cover, I am sure we can make do and recall him in January

nah m8 i was just being sarcastic referring to the stoch transfer after his excellent spell at twente :)

Hutchinson came back, played that excellent cross for lampard against 7-0 thrashing of villa (i think)

I'm a supporter of young players - especially defenders - getting regular competitive football. He's still too young to be a regular feature in our side, so this can surely only do him good.
