evissy
More than half of it is made up if not the whole thing. Let the man show what he can do on the pitch. I'm not convinced he is more than a squad player.
June
What will be his position in Chelsea's formation next season ? Replacing Kalou ? Then he may not be at his usual position
rahul
I read the article this morning and had exactly the same reaction as you, Zola. What a terrible manager Rafa is!

I'm not convinced he is more than a squad player. Neither is he mate. He's on record admitting that he may end up being a second string player..can't remember where tho sorry. I don't think we signed him to be a first team regular.
TheWestwayWonder
Pretty shocking stuff if even half of it is true. But it goes along with everything the rumors and whispers about Benitez have said: his man management is absolutely horrendous. No wonder quality players like Alonso couldnt wait to leave, and the likes of Gerrard and Torres are mystified by substitutions. There must be have been (hehehe) zero relationship between players and the manager. I like what I am hearing from Yossi here. If he was in a bad situation for three years, never said a word about it, and perfomed like he did that means he cares about the club and professionalism. I like how he talks about the fans and their importance, it sounds like he isnt just there to put his time in and collect his paycheck. I want a guy like that on our team, rather than playing against us. More than half of it is made up if not the whole thing. Let the man show what he can do on the pitch. I'm not convinced he is more than a squad player. Seriously? Based on what? This guy has kept his mouth shut for years, and now he feels compelled to speak out and he's making it up, eventhough it sounds like what Babel, Alonso, Riera, and Gerrard have said in the past? And if you read the full thing, as speedy says, he acknowledges it will be tough: "I'm not stupid. I know Chelsea have many great players and it will be hard to play in the team every week."But what's important for me is I know I will be treated with respect. "Carlo Ancelotti is a fantastic manager and he knows how to treat players." I think thats a guy who understands his role going forward Edited July 12, 2010 by TheWestwayWonder
