Posted July 13, 201014 yr Looking to whisk the bird away to London for a weekend, she has never seen a footy match so a good excuse to take in a game and go out for a night or two. I would normally stay at travel lodges or whatever when traveling with the lads, bit different with a bird though! Can anyone recommend somewhere with decent value for money for two nights? Would be looking to go in August...Ideally the 1st game of the season.... Looking into the west brom game or the end of august against Stoke. Edited July 13, 201014 yr by Zola
July 13, 201014 yr Do you have a ticket?? If not you may be best booking some kind of package via the club staying in our hotel. At leats you can score at the bridge then ;)
July 13, 201014 yr if you done what c3blu says you should impress the bird its a great hotel. the ibis on the lillie road is handy.
July 13, 201014 yr I was thinking about doing this next Spring, so I'm going to keep an eye on this thread. How are those packages? The hotel and ticket packages. Are they pretty decent?

July 14, 201014 yr Author Priced the millennium copthorne there - nearlt £300 for two nights! Jesus! I need somewhere nice for around £200 if I'm to sort this other stuff. Londonders? Travellers? Lend a hand would ya? :) Edited July 14, 201014 yr by Zola
July 14, 201014 yr Author I've found one price at copthrone, decent room 2 nights for 180, thats not bad
July 15, 201014 yr Last season I went with my girlfriend to see Chelsea vs Arsenal on the package deal from the viagogo ticket exchange. It was something like £185 which included a stadium tour, match tickets, programmes and a hotel room in the Crown Plaza near victoria for the night. We booked it early december for the match which was in February and the prices went up radically close to the match, however with a bit of anticipation it worked out as a pretty good deal. It was particularly good because I'm just a member and can only realistically travel to some 15 matches a season, therefore I have no chance of getting a ticket for the bigger games on loyalty points. You should have a look at their deals!
