I watch a crazy amount of football from all the major leagues around the world including International football. I particularly focus on younger players. Players coming up through International underage tournaments and club youth teams. I like to do my own scouting if you like, One particular player I have taken a liking to over the past 2 years or so is James McCarthy. He is a 20 year old midfield player from Scotland, Playing for Wigan Athletic in the Premier League. I feel he will be a great midfielder and he is good enough to be a Chelsea. Considering some of the most average English players are selling for £20m. James McCarthy could move for just £10m which I think is a fantastic bargain, What do you guys think?

we were rumoured to have an interest in him a while ago, but then again, we are linked with almost everyone.

Think he would be a good signing if we got him.

If there are any Scottish fans on here can you explain why McCarthy refused to play for Scotland. He has played for Ireland but only I friendly's I think? Can he still go back to Scotland? What is the real situation?
