I don't know whether this post should be merged or not but Im going to put it anyway. I just want to appeal to all the fans on this forum of ideas for a tribute to Didier. He is arguably the greatest striker we have had at the club and we should recognise this. He has done such great things for the club and has won it all. He is such a big game player and without him and don't think we would have the success that we have over the past 8 years. Me and a couple of mates are going to lay tributes at the Millennium Gate. It would be great if people on the forum joined in and maybe we could get a shed end poster thank you or something. Cheers guys!

In a similar spirit to the Bobby Tambling Card?

Yep I think it would be a good idea. Im doing an individual one with mates and I know others who are doing it. Shed end card would be good. Sod off Tomw

Haha he would never do that. The rubbles are only to be spent on chelsea and his massive yacht. Let me know if anyone makes any progress with the idea.

I still don't think people give him enough credits. Apart from the World Cup, the man has done it all. He has scored so many big goals in big matches, more than I can remember of Henry, Shearer , RVN etc. I can't think of another striker who can do both attack/defence as effectively as him. People tend to remember his power, but his techique is superb, reflected by those amazing goals against Liverpool, Everton. He probably should have taken more free kicks in his earlier days with us, he really know how to curl or smash them.
