I am going to be getting a new TV package. I have never had the Fox Soccer Channel before because I have always streamed all the Chelsea games on my laptop. Most TV packages that include FSC are the ones that are pretty expensive. Just wondering how many Chelsea games are usually on FSC? Is it worth it? Thanks

I have both FSC and FSC+ (which is another $14 a month) and last year including the games on ESPN there was only 2 matches I didn't get. You'll get a few cup matches as well depending on the draws.

I often feel bad for members in the UK that have to rely on streams while I'm watching the matches in HD on the 55" flat screen.

Being European Champions I would expect most every match to be shown next season.

They'll be on a lot this year in the States... FSC, FSC+, and ESPN will air them pretty much every week due to winning the CL! I don't get FSC+ on Comcast here in Denver but am looking to switch to DirecTV for that this season... A few years back I paid for Setanta and got everything (including internet viewing while I was at work for the Midwest matches) but not sure where Setanta lies anymore... Back then I'd get La Liga, Everdise, and FSC did Prem and Serie A but truthfully it was too much! I would spend a lot if my time watching football inside and not getting up to ski on the weekends. That was back in 03-06 so it may have changed now...

It's worth it, but I don't have FSC+ in my area. I also don't get it in HD, but oh well, what can you do?

I think the US and Canada probably get more games from Europe than anywhere else, lots of EPL, Italian, French and Spanish probably due to the diversity of the population, I think there were only a handful of Blues games that I didn't watch last season but I streamed them anyway. FSC US broadcast pre match build ups IMO are pretty weak though and have has beens on the panel who were mediocre players at best....still what happened to FTA?

Same here. It's definitely worth it imho.

FSC will have the vast majority of Chelsea games. ESPN has a few, and FS+ had -- I'm guessing here -- maybe 8 to 10 of them last season.

So even if you can't get FS+, FSC and ESPN will have many, many of them.

How does the the new Sky/BT deal affect FSC? Or does it?

I think that may have an affect in the future. I think those games that were up for sale were for a couple years from now. Nothing affecting this coming year, I think

What? You mean to tell me that Warren Barton is not class? Guy does more interrupting and blabbering than a "blank" on a 2 day binder who just ran out of the white... I agree though, its gotten much better from the olden days when I think they were up in Canada but still needs a lot of work... The only thing I want to see out of Canada on TV is the Red Green show and Don Cherry and even Cherry has become a pansy-arse! Back in the day though, Cherry was great for Hockey Night! Apologies, wrong sport...
