mad_mac Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 My dad had suspected Meningitis once and it really knocked him down for about a week. Was over in hospital on the mainland and thankfully pulled through. Hope that Danny gets over this as quick as possible and that we don't rush him back.
dkw Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Just quickly read up on viral meningitis and it can be very serious, how Danny is ok and has a full recovery.
TheWestwayWonder Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I REALLY hope he doesnt miss the Olympics because of this. It was a crime that he missed out on the Euros, and this could be a great shot at redemption for the lad.
ace Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Just quickly read up on viral meningitis and it can be very serious, how Danny is ok and has a full recovery. From what I have read, there are two types of meningitis, bacterial and viral. Bacterial has a very high mortality rate, viral is lower. Thankfully, Danny has viral. Still, a serious disease, hope he recovers quickly.
