db07 Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 This might be a silly question but here goes..... I am thinking about joining the Chelsea membership scheme for the upcoming season. I live in Scotland so go to away games and usually only 1 home match per season. When I go to the away games I get stuck in the home crowd which is rubbish!! This season I want to join the scheme so that when I go to away games I can sit with the Chelsea fans. The question I have is that when I look at the tickets for matches I see you are allowed 1 ticket as a member and then on a seperate date you can apply for further tickets. Will your original ticket and the one you buy at the later date be next to each other still?? Is this the same for the home and away games?? Thanks
J.J Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Nah, if you want to sit next to someone you'd have to wait till the "buy 2 or more" window is open before purchasing anything Not sure on away details as sadly I've never been away!
Snedger Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Anyone know how long after buying/renewing club membership it is until it's possible to buy tickets? Only jut renewed now and hoping to try and get tickets for Wigan. An extra complication is that I will be arriving in Amsterdam on a lads piss up weekend when they go on sale at 1pm Thursday.

I think it's usually activated after 48 hours, so you should be fine with time. You can log in on your phone maybe. I've done that to purchase tickets before when I've been at work.

Valerie Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 An extra complication is that I will be arriving in Amsterdam on a lads piss up weekend when they go on sale at 1pm Thursday. Your weekends start on Thursdays ? Enjoy your time in Amsterdam! Please don't behave like so many louts we get over here
timetowaste Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Right quick question, I'm a member and I'm trying to buy 3 tickets for the Man City game as a member can now buy 2 additional tickets. I'm trying to buy 3 all together including my own, one for my Dad and one for my Brother who aren't members but it isn't letting me buy them as it says 'add member'. What do I do? Also, the same thing happened when I tried to get some for the Reading and Newcastle games. Edited July 30, 2012 by timetowaste

Unfortunately I've had to use 2 days holiday from work. No worries about our behaviour Valerie. We enjoy Amsterdam for it's nice relaxed atmosphere particularly in the wonderful brown cafes (gezelligheid?). One or 2 in our number do like a smoke now and then but people generally don't believe that we head over there with no interest in drugs or red lights. And anyway, last I heard was something about having now to be a Dutch national or resident to be allowed to buy anything other than coffee in the coffeeshops. timetowaste, can you not call the ticket office and ask them? And perhaps you could treat your Dad to a club membership as an early xmas present. That way you can add him to your friends and family list and be able to buy an extra ticket a bit earlier (points depending). For only £25 pound it might be worth it.

In Amsterdam a "wietpas" is required from 1 January 2013, so the smokers amongst you shouldn't fear for this trip. Gezellig !
timetowaste Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 YB sorted the problem guys thanks for the help, I really don't know why I didn't try and enter my account for every ticket I wanted in the first place haha.
