Chelsea decided to allow Jimmy Smith to stay weeks ago as his three months were up, Michael's three months finish now or soon.

I hope this means that JT is back soon.

I don't think you can read anything in this about JT's fitness. If Mourinho had been serious about fielding the youngsters for more than 15 minutes, he would have done so already. They're just not in his plan B.
