So, I am getting pretty close to needing a new laptop (been looking at Lenovo) but in the meantime I was looking to save some memory space on my current laptop by cleaning a few things up.

about 80% of my hard drive is music and I think it is taking up that much space due to heavy Windows Media File albums as opposed to mp3 files.

So, given that I don't have much space (doing a disk clean up right now) does anyone know of a program that will scan all ym music and turn any that are .wmv files into .mp3 files, and will this clear up some space?

Don't know of any software that will do that, but I always thought WM files were smaller than MP3s anyway? Might be wrong, though, as it's all to do with the kbps.

I cant remember any names now, but search on Google and you will find some programs surely, after that, go and download them through torrent.
