Not necessarily. Im sure Mourinho rates hundreds of footballers worldwide, but the majority of them won't be in his Chelsea squad. Given the opportunity to get 20M for KdB and have that extra 20M to spend, I wouldn't be surprised if Mourinho placed short term success over long term gain sustainability, how many realistically see this as a long term appointment?

Because we have PvA, who offers something completely different to both Shaw and Bertrand..
