Travelling Help Needed

Featured Replies

Good Morning all.  My first post and already needing some assistance.

I am going to the Swansea game on Boxing day and as usual there is no train service.  Can anyone advise the best way to travel in from herts?  I thought there was a shopping centre or something with free parking very near to a tube station in north London.

I was thinking Watford High Street and tube into baker street or Paddington.

Obviously driving is an alternative but i have never driven to Chelsea so dont know any parking areas or costs.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Is there a bus service? Driving would be a logistical nightmare - and you can't have any pints, an even bigger nightmare.

Thanks Gents

There is no bus service I am aware of so some element of driving is unavoidable.  However I think my dad will be doing the driving.  I don't want to miss out on the beer as we are in Hospitality for my 40th birthday treat.

I have been told of a place called Gunnersbury.  From here you can get a tube into Earls Court.

If not then I think Watford underground station is the best idea.

Don't know Gunnersbury well but unless there is parking at the station you might find it difficult to find on-road parking as it's a busy area so check it out before you decide on that.
