Chelsea vs Man Utd (Under 21s) at Stamford Bridge

I missed most of the first half, but from what Cliver Walker was saying, I didn't miss much. Taking his word, the second half was a vast improvement, very watchable, and packed with incident.

Twenty seconds into the second half, the referee awarded a penalty for a ball to hand incident that was outside the box. Within five minutes, he'd disallowed a perfectly good looking Chelsea goal, added to the fact that Pereira, a petulant little prick, should have been sent off twice over, and all prejudice aside you have to say that the Chelsea youngsers had every reason to feel aggrieved.

The equaliser, when it came, was scored by Anders Christenson who headed in from a Lewis Baker corner. Christensen had a very good game, I thought. Composed in defence, invariably making the right decision, adding support to the midfield, and a useful presence (as proved by his goal) at corners.

From what I saw, Man U offered very little, and were extremely fortunate to come away with a point.
