Our Recent Form

but they always tend to go on a strong run of form in the second half of the season.

Normally they are around the top at the new year then fall off miserably second half. in November 2013 they were 5 points clear at the top of the prem and at the end were celebrating 4th again.

It just seems whenever we have a chance to build a substatial lead we don't do it.

Our performances of late worry me in that we look burnt out and unable to hold any kind of advantage. (How many leads have we lost this season in games?).

No CL means a weeks rest between most of the games now but Arsenal and City should also have that boost unless they have a lucky day this week in the CL.

I honestly feel like we need 9 points from the next 3 games. I don't think anybody wants to be going into the Arsenal game with them having a chance to cut the lead to 1 or 2 points (albeit with us having a game in hand).

The advantage we have is that City and Arsenal can only drop 3-4 more points before physiologically they feel out of it.

Yesterday just seems like a missed opportunity to shut the door on our rivals. But given how rigid and lacking in innovation we've been recently, if I were in City's or Arsenal's squad (especially Arsenal), I would feel like it's very much alive.

By the time we play arsenal i believe we will be level on games played with them. When we play United whoever arsenal were due to face will be postponed for their FA cup semi.
