Imagine losing Drogba, Essien, Geremi, Kalou, & Mikel for a couple of months!

Well it's gonna happen.

It will surely hit Chelsea harder than any other Premiership team.

How exactly will we cope? Can we bring in players in the summer with as much quality as Drogba and Essien? Our players of the season? It's doubtful.

Let's hope that Jose, as he does for most things, prepares bloody well for this baron spell ahead of us!

I don't think it will be as huge a problem as it may seem.

We have enough central midfielders to provide cover for Mikel and Essien. Geremi is a bit part player anyway and I fully expect us to sign a new striker in the summer thus providing some cover for Drogs and Kalou.

I am not saying we won't suffer to some extent, just saying I don't think it will be as devastating to the squad as it first seems.

If we think losing Essien and Drogs would be that devastating then we better do some thinking about the transfer market as we could just as easily lose them to injuries as to the ACN.

I don't think Drogba will be AS prolific next season, as this one. In fact I fully expect the knives to be out again, and a whole list of "I told you so" from some on this board.

Essien will be, but I think we can adequately cover for them over three games, which realistically is around 4 games.

Both 4 are decent players for our team, it would be very difficult to replace them, counting Maka`s age
