My annual pilgrimage to the Bridge was a great day out even if the match was forgettable. I mostly see it on TV these days and it's really a different experience. The goals (our ones!) are over in an instant but other things are way better - you get a much better feel for the game and notice things that pass you by on TV. I've always thought Terry was great but I only really appreciated it seeing what he does in the flesh (don't go there! You know what I mean!). The party atmosphere and the weather made it a treat. Best non footballing moment for me was the booing when Gerrard was being substituted and then a spontaneous ovation from our fans - class. I was near the corner flag where Gerrard scored and unfortunately whoever was marking him didn't hear my shout! Up the Chels!

Sorry I'm spamming this in a couple of appropriate threads, this being one of them. The top picture came up on my time hope from 1 year ago today and obviously we all know what happened Sunday so I thought I'd merge.

After the game on the tube I saw an Asian couple (tourists with half and scarves) in Liverpool kits. It looks like the tourists have infiltrated their away following as well as making Anfield dead.

Val - Carlo was at the Bridge yesterday!

 

I bet the first thing he said to Cech was: "See what that feels like now, MF-er? Not so funny when it happens to you, innit?" (I don't know why he's from North London all of a sudden, but you catch my drift )
