just watched the finale, it was a decent finale for an extremely underwhelming season

 

personally i liked the plot but it's the writing that's really really bad with lots of just stupid sequences and lazy plot development, i can't fathom the fact that it's the same guy who writes for season 1 and ofc the atrocious casting aside from colin and rachel, i mean romcom icon vince vaughn as this dark and philosophical two bit gangster it's just too much, talk about amateur hour, and the taylor kitsch character i still have zero idea what his character suppose to be for the plot

I thought it was pretty good although the plot at times was tricky to follow at times.

I think this season was more about the characters and less about plot. Colin farrell was excellent, and I thought Vince Vaughans character got better each week, and his death was wonderfully executed.

Hope the critism does curtail a possible season 3.

Agree with that. I though Farrell, Vaughan and McAdams were all excellent.

 

Finally got around to watching the final episode yesterday and I was disappointed and a tad confused! Well, perhaps not confused but there was too much going on and too many characters and it perhaps didn't help that I didn't watch series 1. There seem to be very few series where I am completely satisfied with the ending. 

If that had been the first season there wouldn't have been a second ordered, and if there had been I certainly wouldn't have watched it.

 

Couldn't have been more different to the first.
