May 26, 201610 yr Niko Kranjcar has agreed a deal to come to Ibrox. I like the sound of that, a good decent experienced player. Kranjcar and Barton will change the midfield dramatically. It'll be interesting to see who else Rangers have lined up. Edited May 26, 201610 yr by carrickblue
May 30, 201610 yr Dominic Ball looks like he could be making a move after his loan spell last season. Would be a good move for both parties
June 3, 201610 yr Author Mark Warburton could strengthen his defence with a summer move for Maccabi Tel Aviv central defender Eitan Tibi according to reports. The 28-year old Israeli international is being considered by Mark Warburton to provide competition for Danny Wilson and Rob Kiernan as he looks to push his side to a serious crack at winning the title in Rangers' first season back in the top flight. Capped 20 times by his country, Tibi can fill in at left back if required although is primarily a central defender. Tibi made 23 appearances last season for Maccabi Tel Aviv as they finished second in the Israeli league to Hapoel Beer Sheva and also played in five of Tel Aviv's six games in the Champions League group stages. With only Wilson and Kiernan available as recognised centre-backs Warburton will need to strengthen his defence ahead of the new season if he wants to challenge Brendan Rodgers' Celtic side. June 9, 201610 yr Author Rangers will bring Steven Taylor to Glasgow for talks over a move to Ibrox tomorrow, according to a Sky Sports journalist. The defender, who was released by Newcastle at the end of this season, has a huge number of Premier League appearances under his belt, but only managed 7 last year as Newcastle were relegated. The news was broken by Sky Sports' Keith Downie, who has contacts both north and south of the border and should be on the money. It seems to fit the mould of more experienced, quality players that Mark Warburton has been targeting in this window, and he's not too old either at the age of 30, although there are some question marks over his fitness. Perhaps not the dream centre-back we'd have picked, but we'll trust Mr Warburton on this one - he's gotten the best out of forgotten players many times before, and we'll see if he can do it again.
June 9, 201610 yr Apparently rangers have looked at Morton left back on 12 occasions last year. Very young and already turned down Swansea to progress in first team football. Was given Morton man of the match twice against rangers and considering he was up against Tavernier both times - good going. Very in the Lee Wallace mould and I'd cry like a woose if he left. Just turned 20. Skip to 55 seconds. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wB48vKihKMg
June 17, 201610 yr Clint Hill has signed on a 1 year contract with a coaching position afterwards. 37, not too sure about this tbh.
June 20, 201610 yr Niko Kranjcar has agreed a deal to come to Ibrox. I like the sound of that, a good decent experienced player. Kranjcar and Barton will change the midfield dramatically. It'll be interesting to see who else Rangers have lined up. Is due to have his medical in the next few days according to the BBC Scotland website.
June 23, 201610 yr Kranjcar has signed. Think he'll do a good job. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36606304
July 28, 20169 yr Van Persie to Rangers? Ive just seen that and was coming to post in here, what a very odd rumour.
July 28, 20169 yr Warburton has laughed it off today, it's just a made up rumour. Edited July 28, 20169 yr by Chelsbear
July 28, 20169 yr They nearly signed him way back in the early 00's when he was at feyernoord, but that was a different era when they could afford the wages. Edited July 28, 20169 yr by dufunk
May 30, 20179 yr Author Strong rumours that Bruno Alves is on his way to Ibrox. His reputation is strong but can get still deliver the goods? Given the state of the SPL he'll probably fit in just fine.

May 30, 20179 yr Ryan Jack will be signing very soon from what I am hearing from some reliable folk up here. Talk of Jamie Walker from Hearts too but that ones not as nearly done. Awaiting work Permit for Carlos Pena and if paperwork is done he will be signing ASAP. Dorans is touch and go, money is an issue hut he wants to come back to Glasgow to play for the team he supports.

Rangers do seem to be trying to do some business as soon as possible which looks promising - of course the Europa League starts on 29 June and getting into the Group stage has got to be a priority.

Sadly Alves won't be there. He's on international duty and won't arrive until July
June 1, 20179 yr Author In addition to Alves & Jack, reports in Portuguese media claim Caixinha has opened talks with Benfica over a move for winger Daniel Candeias and striker Dalcio. 29-year-old Candeias has recently completed a loan spell with Turkish side Alanyaspor but has found himself out of favour in the Portuguese capital. Dalcio, 21, joined Benfica from Belenenses but has never played for the Eagles first team.
