Was it a well spent 9 mil for Khalid and where is he now -purgatory?

I hear everyone talking about getting a new forward for next season, dont you guys think we need a new centre back

God forbid but what if JT gets injured next again, how weel would we fair out at the back?

I think he is a good player- good enough to ne in the squad. lost him form and then got injuries, but he'd be better after the initial year. whether jose is ready to give that to him, I'm not so sure.

Kahlid is a bit of an enigma, as most our recent Dutch signings have been. Plays for the national side, we get him when we were not really linked with him, comes in, looks good, plays a blinder against barca, and then gets injured.

He certainly showed signs of promise, and he is a decent back up defender ( in the geremi role) but will he settle for merely being back up, and will Jose have plans for him in the future...I hope so, he really hasn't been given a chance here at the bridge, yet!

At the moment, I don't think he is first-team material, but he is good backup (when he is not injured - of course).

I think that we could definately do with another backup centreback as well though. As has been well and truely proven this season, 3 centrebacks in the squad is not nearly enough.

I definately don't think we should sell him - he will be a much better player next season (like Carvalho has been this season), and at 24, he is still quite young for a centre back and will improve over the next few years.

it definitely seems that the story he was arnesen's signing is true...i mean ballack has been sh*te many times but jose has stood by him...boulahrouz had a couple of dodgy games and is nowhere to be seen

anyway, whose place should he take? JT or carvalho?

it would make no sense to play him as a RB, we got players for that position who can actually attack too. and when playing the diamond we need that from the full backs.
