I watched this game yesterday and it’s the first old firm game I have seen in a while. I have watched a lot of football since lockdown, including both Rangers and Celtic games. I live in Scotland but I only ever tend to watch Chelsea. 
 

This season, you Rangers fans have seen more than me however is Goldson just having a good season or is he always like this? Even in Europe, his positioning is fantastic. He seems to be a magnet for every cross into the box. 
 

Your stand out player is your left back though. I was actually very surprised to see he is the Croatia starting left back. He’s been 8+ rating in every game I’ve seen him. He absolutely nullified the usually impressive Frimpong yesterday. 
 

I really don’t rate this Morelos chap though. I don’t see it at all. Awful first touch, terrible passing and didn’t seem a goal threat at all. I did see there’s talk of his head being turned this season though. 
 

Celtic look very poor. I could not believe how bad Shane Duffy looks in Scottish football. He was generally reliable in the PL. Laxalt will be a revelation in Scotland. He’s a great player and was unlucky to be behind Theo Hernandez at AC.

I've watched a few Rangers games this season and I thought their performance on Saturday was superb with some great passing and movement. Controlled the game from start to finish. Agree, Celtic was poor. I'm biased towards Rangers: family on my Dad's side are all Rangers family but have to say that the Celtic side on Saturday was one of the worst I've seen. Even Scott Brown wasn't up for the game.

Goldson was superb in the defence and took his goals well. Agree about Barisic. He is a fine defender and gets in good crosses and has a good shot. Morelos is a strange player. Sometimes he can be brilliant and other times goes missing. His temper is a concern and he needs to show more discipline.

Rangers have improved on last season and I reckon that they have a great chance of winning the title this season. If they do, I'll have more than a few beers to celebrate,

The one on the left is Tom Forsyth. You're right about Cooper and Greig.

Only a few hours to go. The nerves are kicking in. Will go for a walk to settle them and then stock up on the beers for the match. I'll settle for any type of year.

Saw the picture below on Facebook yesterday. Fair play to the Celtic fans who put the banner up outside Celtic Park. A fine gesture from them. As I've mentioned before I know people including two of my uncles who were at the game and I remember my Dad phoning up my grand-parents to check that his brothers were okay: they were. So many lives affected that day. If any good came out of the game it was in that Rangers took the decision to re-develop Ibrox. RIP the 66.

The other day a member of the Larkhall and Rangers Supporters Club laid a wreath at John Geig's statue. Larkhall is a place I know where and is probably the mostly staunch Rangers supporting town in Scotland if not the U.K.

Atrocious first half. The match would be over if it wasn't for McGregor. 

Hoping Gerrard can get us into this in the second half, got to make changes in mid-field.

Not Rangers best performance especially in the first half but got the win which is what matters. Great saves by Shagger in the first half and some great defending. Duffy should have been sent off. A nice belated birthday present for the Ulster Pirlo. I reckon popcorn teeth and the Lego eater will be upset.
