abramovich
Greatest fans on the planet, lol. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/a ... to=newsnow Tuesday turned out to be a bittersweet night for Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina, despite his penalty shoot-out heroics in the Champions League semi-final win over Chelsea. After celebrating his two penalty saves which helped earn his club a place in the final, the Spaniard returned to his home in the early hours of Wednesday morning, only to find it had been ransacked by intruders. Jewellery, an entertainment system and a Porsche Cayenne were stolen from the house in the Woolton area of the city. The car was later found burnt out elsewhere in Liverpool. It is not the first time a Premiership footballer in Liverpool has been the victim of a burglary while at a game. The home of Jerzy Dudek, Liverpool's keeper when they won the 2005 Champions League final, was burgled in June 2006. He was on holiday when thieves took his Porsche, jewellery and memorabilia, including his European Cup medal. Reds team-mates Daniel Agger and Peter Crouch were also both burgled in September last year. And it is not just Liverpool players who have been targeted by the crooks. Everton winger Andy Van der Meyde was burgled twice last year, including one raid in which his pedigree puppy was taken. But in 2001 thieves who broke into the house of then Everton striker Duncan Ferguson picked on the wrong man. The burly Scotland international confronted the intruders and one of them ended up in hospital. Two years later another man broke into Ferguson's house and was held by the player until the police arrived.

Elliott
I bet it was this lot! Latest news reports advise that a group of 4 terrorists has been operating in Merseyside, Liverpool. Police advised earlier today that 3 of the 4 have been detained. The Merseyside Regional Police Commissioner stated that the terrorists Bin Thievin?, Bin Drinkin? and Bin Fightin? have been arrested on immigration issues. The Police advise further that they can find no one fitting the description of the fourth cell member, Bin Workin?, in the area. Police are confident that anyone who looks like they could be Workin? will be very easy to spot in the community.
