The most disgraceful thing to happen in my time following football is the World Cup being granted to Qatar. 

For all FIFA/UEFA's posturing about equality etc granting the biggest football competition to a country with a transparently woeful human rights record shows their true colours that money is all that matters. 

Make no mistake, Qatar bribed their way into winning that World Cup. 

All the uproar over the Super League... Should be nothing about the way those in power and the fans of football should feel about this World Cup. 

I think the time has come for the players and coaches to stand up to both FIFA and UEFA. I remember Toni Kroos saying the players wouldn't play in the Nations League if they weren't being forced to, but if they all stood together and did something about it, FIFA and UEFA would be powerless. 

All of the recent changes to tournament football in domestic and international football has really irritated me. I'm massively against the changes to the Champions League, it's purely about money without a thought to how it can be fit into an already congested fixture list. The format is horrible and not a slight improvement on what we currently have. 

Then you have the internations, an extended Euro's has made the competition worse for me. The quality is poor, 24 teams is too many. It's supposed to be a competition where the best of Europe compete against each other, that is the whole point in qualifying. 

Then you have the shambles that is the world cup in Qatar. I cannot understand how this is allowed to go ahead. We know there was corruption behind it, there is just no way a country with horrible human rights would be allowed to host a world cup without corruption. Then you have the world cup in 2026 switching to the god awful 16 groups of 3 format, for me, this will destroy the world cup. It's all about money, and it's ruining the greatest and most watched football competitions in the world.

FIFA and UEFA are ruining football, they have taken advantage of the Super League to make themselves look like the good guys, but I never bought into that. The fans shouldn't have stopped with the Super League, they should have gone straight after FIFA and UEFA next. FIFA cannot be allowed to ban Norway from future world cups, players around the world need to back them and I think they should back them. Toni Kroos comments prove that the players would change things if they had the power, but they do have the power if they work together.

The Qatar thing for me is geopolitics, they are strategically placed in the Persian Gulf.

The Nations League for me was a piss-take, just devalues the other competitions for me.
