I found this a good read with a lot to think about in how to build a team. For me the main message is partly about the striker but actually more about the future of Silva. Clearly Silva has to be replaced over the course of this season either in the current system or as part of a switch to a back 4. He is a fantastic defender in the modern style but there is no way he can keep it up for another season. At the very least his understudy has to be getting plenty of minutes.

Not sure I agree with this article. If the "best" way to play football in 2022 is to have a big fast physical st we would have ben pl champion. But the fact was we work better with a st who doesn't want to do physical battle. 

This article also imply that both klopp and Pep didn't want to play a st because playing st is not a good idea not because it is better for a team who has salah n mane to not play with a st or pep didn't try to sign Kane.

I get the "big" for Lukaku ... not so much the "fast and physical" :-)
