So we buy a player form Villa then loan them one with a buy obligation for next summer and then we buy one from Palace and could be about to loan them a player with a buy obligation for next summer...

When you have poor negotiators they allow other clubs to dictate the terms without a second thought. A big shopper should be able to tell Villa and Palace on what day the deal will complete, not be treated like total juniors.

These clowns have no regard for their own company's finances.

It's done to get around PSR, if it's done within 45 days, it's considered a swap, and the fees cannot be amortised. Nobody can afford not to do this now, it just demonstrates what a total clusterf**k the financial regulations are, which is rapidly destroying the power of the Premier League.

Palace are rumoured to be struggling to get close to UEFAs 70% SCR limit. Some people call these sort of work around as loopholes. They aren’t they are simply working within the rules.

It doesn’t really matter what the restrictions are. The PL will continue to be ever more powerful in the years to come regardless which isn’t a great thing to be honest

Barca, Real, Bayern. And PSG are the only clubs able to challenge that dominance
