Serious question. If Badiashile can be redeemed can disasi also be redeemed?

Would not be a first for the owners to bring someone back from the bomb squad. Chalobah was in that before going on loan to palace.

I think no.

Chalobah had proven time and time again that he had something in his locker besides just being an academy lad. Had some great games, some average and a few stinkers maybe. Badiashile also showed some promise at first, then suddenly became a huge liability and had several weird injuries.

Disasi however I can't recall him having a "great" game besides that one moment where he went to the crowd. Love his enthusiasm, but he never showed anything near the level we require, not even at Villa whenever I had the chance to catch a glimpse of him. My memory is far from the best though.

which bozo thought Tosiin is better than Axel.. cant believe we have a championship level player playing first team games.. pretty sure atleast Disasi tries to defend is not a cardboard cutout.

I don't trust either one. If we were really serious we would get rid of both Disasi and Tosin.

To be reintegrated with the first team due to lack of CB options.

Mediocre defence needing help? Reintegrated the worst CB of the lot.

Internal Solutions FC👊

Cynic in me says it's just make more money off him come the winter transfer window.

Purely to put him in the shop window for January would be my guess.

Hope he gets a move in January as by all accounts he’s a good guy.

Never in a million years the standard we require though

This whole bomb squad concept is nothing new. Clubs have always had players training away from the main squad, playing for the reserves. I remember a footie film a number of years ago about that American lad at Newcastle with two separate, distinct groups training. It's not new. However we and the press made such a song and dance about it because of the number of players we had and the fact that BlueCo and their PR machine made such a show when we signed these players, that it opened us up for mockery and criticism.

But knocking walls down in the changing room and having 8-9 surplus players is one thing, having just two players sanctioned from a squad, that is perpetually riddled with injuries is both childish and potentially damaging for morale as well as a poor look for the press to mock. As is the case here.

Similarly with Sterling. I don't particularly rate Sterling but without question he could have got game time with us on the wing or up top and would have been an improvement on what we did actually do at certain times this season.

This Mexican stand off between club and players, only for the inevitable climbdown when they try to sell them again is unnecessarily ridiculous. Both Disasi and Sterling could have easily formed part of the larger unit without it affecting morale. I think nowadays they get paid their salary whether they play or not.

None of the actions taken by this group against these and similar players makes any real commercial or sporting sense to me.

The difference between 'bomb squads' of the past, including when AVB banished Malouda, Alex and Anelka, is that our current mob boasted to all and sundry about what they were doing. It wasn't some wry journalist uncovering the truth while hiding in the bushes at Cobham, the club briefed journalists about what they intended to do.

Yet BlueCo have the gall to be upset when no other club meets their 'valuation' and the players' union investigate whether the club is upholding basic British employment law.

The issue of bomb squads will reduce at Chelsea. It’s tended to be guys we have given too much in wages and/or players we have paid way too much for.

Sterling, Chilwell, and to a lesser extent Disasi (still rumoured to be £100 grand a week) were always going to be very difficult to move on.

Length of contracts don’t help either but I’m confident we won’t have the same numbers in future bomb squads as the wages our players are on now mean they are easier to move on immediately.

I have stopped caring about what we do personel wise from football pov a while ago because that is not what this club is all about anymore.

Think we've all noticed that the spark has left you Bob, to be replaced with cutting cynicism and a little bitterness. Welcome to the disbelievers side. Remember what our icon, the prophet Johnny Minerals teaches us, "Fck em all, and don't let the brown envelopes win"

The sad part is that I can't be just football fans anymore.

It is impossible to look at what we are doing transfer wise without focusing on the spreadsheet side and then maybe just a quick glance on how that player will help us.

Was going to applaud him for turning out for the U21s in PL2 and the U21s International Cup, then had a look at his contract; he is contracted till 2029. Those 7yr contracts are hideous, we will need to sell him for £26m to balance the books which is just isn’t happening.

Sporting Directors are absolute criminals. Wouldn't surprise me if an insider documentary comes out 10 years from now detailing how they were actual frauds.

The amount of money this club has spent is incredible and the return is a disaster. 100s millions wasted on complete duds
