Seen people suggest they are trying to do Disasi+Felix for Duran.

Funny thing is, it would be so simple to do.

 

Loan fee for Disasi let's say just less than Veiga, 4mill.

Felix they actually want, and did in the summer, but he picked us. Give them a discount but cover our remaining psr plus a little exta. 45mill.

 

Pay their asking price for Duran. 70mill . 14mill psr hit, offset by 7mill for Disasi and Felix. If we can get Duran for lower great.

Don't think it is happening though, just fan speculation.

Isn’t  Duran linked with a move to Al Nassr? They want either him or Boniface this Jan window. I would take either here as competition for Jackson.

Pretty clever on the owners part. 

In the summer we did not want Duran or Samu as we were desperate for either of the two Victor's.

Now we would happily take Duran even at a higher cost.

This just highlights how f**ked up the financial rules now are, when a club like Villa get back in to europe but then have to sell young "assets" to keep up with them, its a disaster created by imbeciles in the FA`s.

When all is said and done it looks like we might end up getting Duran for what amounts to Conor G plus about 50m. We could have got him for less than 50m in the summer and still kept Conor. The wonders of PSR.

Didn't we already bail Villa out with £20m on that Kellyman, who was never heard of again? 

If Villa are receiving a near 70mill windfall from Saudi for Duran, I would hope we insist this loan has a buy obligation.

Wouldn’t entertain any loan options for either Felix or Disasi at this point. Especially to Villa.

Nah Spurs have trumped Wolves offer for some defender from Lens. Won't be Disasi going there.

Romano now reporting that Spurs are still pushing for the Disasi move which just goes to show you, no matter how bad we think we are there will always be Tottenham 😂

He's holding out for Villa, although apparently we won't loan him to a Top 4 rival LOL.  So we have a defender we won't play, presumably because we don't rate him, but we won't loan him to a rival, even though he would probably make their defence worse and would make it harder for them to finish above us ??? 😆

At this point I think our owners and directors must have laid some pretty big bets on us not qualifying for the Champions League. Perhaps we can't afford the kickers in the player contracts for that as well 🙂

Supposedly, top 4 isn't the target for this season, according to Maresca anyway. So how come Villa are a top 4 rival then?
