May 20, 20251 yr Bit of family history, my uncle was a very close friend of John Sullivan and knew him back when he was a scene shifter at the BBC submitting jokes for various 'stars' to tell on TV. They remained lifelong friends and they regularly got together at Johns last house in Kingswood up to his untimely death. (John was a multi millionaire by then) I never met him although I did go to his house once with my Uncle to drop something off but John was in America. By sheer coincidence my Uncles son ( born in the early 70's) was christened Rodney .
