is it too late for player of the year award to have a recount? does ronaldo really do it in big games against big teams? drogba 33 gls (no pens), winning gls in two cup finals...ronaldo's first gls for utd in champs league came against roma this season...but he was back to usual self against AC milan in san siro...can't remember him doing anything against us since he arrived...drogba takes them all on...poor, average and best sides

Totally agree. This was actually brought up by some swedish commentators who argued whether Ronaldo or Drogba was the best player in england (or in the world). They agreed that even though Ronaldo is a superb player he doesn't rise in the big games. How many goals has he scored against the big teams in England?

0 against Chelsea

0 against Arsenal

0 against Liverpool

1 pen against Spuds (if you count them as a big team )

Drogba has atleast scored against Liverpool. And in europe he's scored against Barcelona and he managed a hat trick in the Champions League. He's been great in the big games and has stepped up whenever we needed him too.
