Our current transfer model will inevitably mean we will find ourselves having to sell a Palmer, Estevao or Caicedo at some point if results dip below CL qualification. Whether we want to or not.

When we sail so close to the wind we will eventually get caught out

Pretty much. This is also why I said we were very close to this blowing up in our faces. Without Champions League qualification and CWC money, we would be buggered.

I will also keep banging on about this one too, where the f**k is the shirt sponsor? There is no excuse for this anymore. We've probably left around £100m on the table in the last 3 seasons because of these clowns.

Really strange example to use when all summer our allegedly Phenomenal Directors are desparately trying to move on Jackson to enable other purchases but cannot due to their own over inflated valuation of an average player and a completely stupid 9 year contract.

Don’t forget it was our phenomenal directors that built that dog sh*t attack from scratch!

…I’m sure you understand that what you have posted here is an utter sh*tshow. Thats not how transfers work and you know it well.

Nick Woltemade transfermarkt value is €30m and he was sold for €90m just now.

Wobble your head and jog on.

Yes ! At last ! You got something right, it absolutely is an " utter sh*t show" !

After the last couple of incoming players, Buonanotte and Enciso, who’s had a second medical after failing Strasbourg’s one, I simply think that these venture capitalists are money laundering using Chelsea. Their signings and their model overall, just doesn’t make sense from the footballing side of things.

The attack was not good enough, I firmly believe we have elevated our attack this year. We only had Jackson as a striker FFS and injured Marc Guiu!

How come our ", brilliant" model left us with just Jacko as a striker ?

Hi mate. I thought I was replying to Clownlake, and I've checked and to me, it looks like I did. But I may well be wrong , apologies if I cocked it up somehow. I saw you score at Wolves !!

.....Unless you're Clownlake in disguise??!!

TOTAL 1,700.59M 325.25M (55.81M) 1,032M (280.02M)

To summarise, on the players these directors have bought, they have managed to make a 55.81M loss on these players. On the players they have stockpiled, if they were to be sold for their current market value, we would make a further 280.02M loss. A record sale transfer window is to be expected when you hoard so much talent, its not so impressive when you look at the details of their details. Without the sale of academy stars and Roman era players, the club would have nothing to fall back on.

For reference, we have sold 302.02M worth of players (pure profit) from Cobham since the takeover. Almost as much as we have sold their actual failed signings for. The rest of the sales of 252.96M were from Roman's CL winning team. Cobham's talent is drying up and the CL squad is gone.

We have also spent by far the most on agent fees for consecutive years, and failed with the most basic commercial deals such as a FOS sponsor since the take over.

Impressive business model!

Yet last year I guess we cover that £55m loss due to World Cup Championship and the Lower European Cup Win.

The question is can we keep the high income streams flowing during this period of ownership, I would say long term no and that is probably when they cash out.

CWC is once every 4 years isn't it?
