Lofty
Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere and I've managed to miss it. Avram Grant is to hold a press conference at 4pm, and as far as I can tell it'll be shown live on Sky Sports News.

BlueBeard
Nothing new to report - just Kenyon and Buck lying through their teeth, as you'd expect.
Lofty
Unfortunately I have to agree. Call me naive, but when it was announced that Avram Grant was to hold a press conference, I had expected, or at least hoped, to hear a bit more from the man himself. abramovich
I have watched it on SSN, finished about ten minutes ago. Kenyon, the sleazebag, was dodging the questions all conference long trying to put a positive spin on something he couldn't fully explain. Bruce Buck was more confident, but being a lawyer his BS just sounded more convincing than Kenyon's, that's about it. As for our new manager he did well enough for someone at the spotlight and managed to compliment JM and on two occasions mentioned how touched he was by witnessing the players' and supporters' reaction to JM's exit. He did mention that he wants the team to play entertaining, positive football. All in all, watching it convinced me even more that Grant is a temporary cover, no more than that, and is just there to man the ship until somebody with the right talent and pedigree comes along. Let's see how the team does under him in the meantime.
glory55
Nothing new to report - just Kenyon and Buck lying through their teeth, as you'd expect. True, nothing new from my point of view. But to all those Blues out there, who think anything good about P*ter K*nyon..... The bloke may as well be a whore! He sold his soul coming to the Bridge and saying 'WE'. He sold his club down the road for one of their fiecest rivals for money. He sat there in that press conference and I actually felt quite sorry for the c**t... ....you could clearly see by his expression he wasn't in favour of sacking Jose. Yet the man sat there, and lied throuh his teeth! For the sake of his job. But what do you expect, from a man (if thats what he really is) who will do anything for a wedge of cash?? You are nothing but a puppet! I hate you P*ter K*nyon and the lies you have told will have made you rich........but NEVER respected!
