loz Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...sea/7676687.stm Another blow as Lampard, Ballack and Mikel were beginning to build a very good understanding - we really need Deco fit again ASAP.
ethicalstrategy Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Deco is listed in the squad on the BBC, but it would hardly be ideal to throw him straight back in to the mix.
Mr Chelsea Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 our injury list gets worse by the game scolari will think xmas as come early if he ever gets a full squad to choose from
abramovich Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 If we lose anybody from the trio of Lampard,Mikel and Deco between now and next Sunday we're in serious trouble. Saturday - it's Boro away, then midweek CL outing against Roma and next Sunday it's scousers at the Bridge. It's going to get to tough. I hate internationals, we've lost Essien and now Ballack both while playing for their national teams.
Dubzz 6 Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I know it sucks, maybe some players are fit to play but are bing saved for liverpool.. Just maybe, i.e. Ash
icecoolguy22 Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 With Deco coming back, and Belleti doing a decent job, we aren't going to be too worried as long as Lampard and Obi are fit. I would mind Belleti ahead of Deco right now, Deco is a great player, but he hold the ball just a bit too much , it slows down our quick swift counter attack. Belleti tend to keep it simple and let Lampard run the show, it's working well at moment and there is no point to change it.
