Posted December 28, 200816 yr I know that the link between the midfield and the strikers seems to be an area of major concern lately; the abscence on Joe Cole, the injury worries of Florent Malouda, and the in-and-out of form performances by Kalou. Therefore we have been touting names such as David Villa, Arshavin, Aguero etc to be possible players to fill that gap, or play as secondary strikers. However, one person I am wondering what has happened too, is our wonder-kid, Argnetinian sensation Franco (name sound familiar) Di Santo? I know we signed Paim as a prospect, and as of yet all he has prospected is a few reserve matches; however, Di Santo was actually getting some game time, so what has happened to him? I'd certainly liked to have seen him get a run out while Drogba was injured. Now, this isn't as "give youth a chance" post, I am just generally wondering what has happened to the lad? Scott
December 28, 200816 yr Still injured Hamstring, I believe. I thought he looked okay during his limited run-outs, certainly a threat in the air and able to hold the ball up. Then again, I thought that about Carlton Cole!
