  1. It's quite possible this season of reduced playing has allowed him to fully heal, get rested, and back into game shape. There's nothing that I like seeing more than Torres succeed, and perhaps this season playing a smaller role is exactly what was needed for Nando.
  2. I concur, the flashback to Moscow was very well done. Made my stomach turn watching it followed by glorious Drogba redemption!!!!! Did anyone else find it funny when Abramovich left his son hanging for the high five?!
  3. I agree with this. These are his most important development years. He needs to play and play lots.
  4. lamps did shoot when torres showed that amazing hustle to get him the ball after being brought down with no foul (and rather than throwing his hands in the air and giving up on the play, torres kept going which threw everybody off, even the bm defenders, lol)...bayern did well to ultimately block it, I thought that could've been it
  5. On Friday before work was over, I told my friend (who's an Arsenal fan) to remember three words going into this final. 1.) Drogba 2.) says 3.) GOAL Thank you Drogba.
  6. “Down to 10 men, 2-0 down, Nou Camp away – at that point, not one single person in the world would have put money on Chelsea going through. “But we did. That was the moment we thought we’d done the big one. “When we conceded against Bayern, that’s what came to mind. “We had 10 minutes – we’d done it in Barcelona down to 10 men–with 11 we could do anything.” -Petr Cech
  7. I think using the slogan "written in the stars" by the fans and media was a great psychological benefit to us. Chelsea, through sheer dogged determination, kept on finding ways to come from behind to win and that expression must have been repeating over and over in the heads of our opponents. By convincing them it's destiny, it gave our opponents a sense of helplessness. It took away the feeling from our opponents that they had any control or say in the matter, and that's a beautiful thing.
  8. His congregation just got a whole lot bigger, lol. And yes, that llama is a bawse!
  9. Am I the only one who thought Drogba might've hit the side netting on his 88' header? I was like, "my eyes must be deceiving me...this is too good to be true!"
  10. U sir, are a Chelsea legend! Thank you! Thank you thank you thank you!
  11. Fair enough. We agree to disagree. What can't be disagreed is that bloke on here who sacrificed his fishing trip luck so that Chelsea could have it all today! Tipped the scales! Respect!
  12. I don't feel bad for him one bit. He was very passive aggressive in his "compliments". He didn't swear or call names, but he was basically spending all his time "very politely" tearing Chelsea down on here and somehow that made it ok.
  13. that's cause he's being defensively responsible
  14. ref not letting chelsea play physical at all...fail to see how that was a foul on kalou. that was just boxing his man out
