  1. Its so good to see all of you still on here - maybe I should come back every now and again. I do miss it! Is that crazy guy, Maniche, still on here? He was a proper nutter! The price of the Rangers ticket is very very good, considering it is at the Emirates. Hopefully someone will take it. You will even get to sit next to me.........!
  2. I know, it used to be a picture of Joe Cole's intelligent face!!
  3. Well, I got promoted to a Senior PA and now actually have to work when I am in the office! Also, I now work in a different department where I just cannot get away with posting on the forum. Also, before I left, I was getting really fed up with a load of new people coming on here and causing trouble. Some people were just plain rude and each time I posted, I ended up getting into a row! How are you Mod? How is Shay, he must be 3 now?
  4. Hi all, hello to all of you that remember me, I hope you are all well and havent come down with swine flu!! I have got a spare ticket to the Rangers tournament happening this weekend at the Emirates Stadium. If anyone is interested, please let me know. These are the details: Sunday 4th August Atletico Madrid V PSG (2:00 k/o) and Arsenal V Rangers (4:15pm k/o) At the Emirates Stadium Block 21 Lower Tier, Row 27, Seat 660 £25 As you can see, the ticket entitles you to two games and then (hopefully!) see Rangers crowned winners of the tournament! If you are interested, please send me a message or an email to [email protected] Thanks, Rizza
  5. I am off to the England V Croatia game on Wednesday. Does anyone know of anywhere decent to drink before the game? Last time I went to Wembley I drank in The Torch but it was so packed in there, I couldnt get served! Any other suggestions please?
  6. Hi everyone, I have got 2 tickets for the Chelsea V Blackburn match at Stamford Bridge this Saturday, 15th September. They are for the East Upper and only ?30 a ticket. If anyone is interested, please let me know via pm. Thanks! x
  7. I am so sorry to hear about his death - at least we know that he will be giving the likes of King Osgood and Matthew Harding his very direct opinions. I will always remember him for his cheekiness and flirtatiousness and the way he made no qualms about pissing anyone off to get his point across. He will always be remembered by us lot on the CSR - RIP Boulderbollocks. Lots of love and strength to Hilary and Josh, my thoughts are with you.
  8. Well, they are more originally named than the 'rabbit' or the 'dolphin'. I am loving the Michael B one, maybe they can do one modelled on Joe Cole......!!!
  9. Joe Cole is the bollox, there is nothing to worry about. I think he may have come across as if he lacked energy but I am sure that was all part of the plan. There is no way that we wanted to risk having him injured when the FA Cup final is only next week. I am reckoning that little Joey will outshine that little sh*t Ronaldo ten fold next Saturday!
  10. OK

Being younger than some of you oldies, my favourite memories are more recent.... The BEST ever game that I went to was against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. It was the last game of the season and it was a battle for fourth spot. It was also Zola's last game in Chelsea colours and he dummied Carragher 3 times in a row near the corner flag.... brilliant. We went 1-0 down which saw us fight a brilliant battle and win 2-1. I got absolutely hammered that night with my dad and his friends and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Other than that, I guess the Bridgey goal against Arsenal in the Champions League and, obviously, winning the league back in 2005. I would love to have been there for the games in the 70s and for the tough times of the 80s, etc, but, due to age, I have missed out! I am sure that by the time I am in my 40s, I would have witnessed some ups and downs the same as the rest of you!
  11. I didnt rate Del Horno all that much. He had a few good games for us but he never sticks out in my mind as 'one of those players we shouldn't have let go'. Same as Bonetti, I remember him for the Messi incident and that isn't a particularly good memory! Good luck to him, of course, but I don't want to see him at the Bridge ever again.
  12. Cech: Solid performance when needed but he didnt have much to do! He made a couple of good saves and was a threat. Diarra: Really good game. Baby Makalele is definitely getting ready to take over the position and I think he will do well. On the down side, he committed a few needless fouls but I think that is down to his age. He will come good and be a credit to the side. Essien: He was good again. He defended well and got forward on occasions. He is one of the best, most accurate passers in the side and I was impressed with his performance. A. Cole: Not too good. It is the onlyperformance I have seen him play at Chelsea where I don't think he has given 100%. His defending was sloppy and a few Wycombe players got past him. Also he now seems to be playing deep and this shows. He is beneficial to the team when he is going forward and not to have that wide type player means that we arent getting as many crosses into the box. I reckon Jose needs to rethink that. Makalele: A quiet but stable performance. I didn't really notice he was on the pitch as he goes about his business in an efficient way. Mikel: I thought he was better today. Not so many pointless fouls and more accurate passing. He seemed strong and got forward a lot. I am still not his greatest fan but he looked good against a poor opposition. Lampard: Great couple of goals but, other than that, he didnt do much for me. A few Row Z shots as usual and a general lack of enthusiasm. I think we need to see more from our acting captain in the way of motivation and energy. Ballack: Where do I start? What a lazy git! He looked uninterested in the game as if playing against Wycombe was below him. Many a time the ball came near him and he made no effort to produce a challenge. He didnt break into a sweat or get his socks dirty. He made next to nothing in the way of contribution and I am more and more convinced that he is not needed at Chelsea. Shevchenko: I think he had a good game. A massive improvement compared to games of late. He was challenging, passing the ball accurately and seemed to be aware of what is going on around him. He was in the right place at the right times and was rewarded with 2 good goals. Also, he seems to have a good attitude and wants to try hard and succeed. The crowd are right behind him and he seems to appreciate this. Man of the Match definitely! Drogba: A nothing performance in the first half. He was good defensively and headed away corners, etc, but he didnt produce much going forward. He improved in the second half and made a couple of runs that were unfortunately non-productive. I was very disappointed to see him diving again but the Wycombe support gave him some stick which served him right!
  13. I promise you it is Tea Bar! I have the CD single at home. Google U2 Sweetest Thing and 1998 and you will see it!
  14. Me? No! I am 24! I dont know what song you are thinking of but the one I mean was released in 1998. It was some kind of charity song if I remember rightly and it featured loads of other stars (including Ronan Keating!) in the video. The only U2 song I like though!
