  1. Mine? Probably Osgood, but as people I generally don't have a very high opinion of footballers, with a few notable exceptions such as Zola. He couldn't have done any more for us during his career, he was fantastic for us. Just don't give us all this ' I could never wear another PL shirt' bollocks
  2. Lampard has a higher IQ than Carol Vorderman, he went to private school in Brentwood. Maybe I am a cynic, but he knows exactly what he is doing at all times. And all this 'he gave us everything' bollocks is ridiculous, that is the very least any player should do given how much they are paid. Not all do though, I grant you that.
  3. I was in the Exec Club as a guest one game when AVB was manager and it was going tits up, game was Bolton which we won 3-0. Frank's Dad and Bleakley were in the Exec Club, there were rumours Frank would be in later if we wanted an autograph. No sign of him but when we left after the game he came out of a side door onto the concourse between the Shed and East Stand, and was happily signing autographs and having photos taken with all comers, no other player was to be seen. I said to my brother that he was building up his fan base, it was obvious he and AVB were at loggerheads and Frank was doing his best to ensure the fans still loved him. I have no issue with that as AVB was an idiot, but there is no doubt that Frank seriously undermined him. What I'm trying to say is that he does everything for himself, don't be under the illusion he cares abut Chelsea fans, he cares about himself and his wallet. All this rubbish about how brilliantly he served the club, for £150k a week so would you or I. I think he has acted pretty badly towards us to be honest and I can see why West Ham fans hate him.
  4. Mourinho falls out with almost everyone eventually, it seems he has to have someone to,pick a fight with. He would rather have Eto'o and Drogba than a young kid with the potential to be as good as those two were. Letting Lukaku go will be a huge mistake and very probably the undoing of Mourinho.
  5. I think we should do whatever it takes to get Patrick Roberts from Fulham, he will be a superstar.
  6. Is he going to better than Kalas? Or Christenson? Looks like more money wasted on the next big thing while ignoring what we already have.
  7. Do you people ever consider that we may have the players coming through? Did everyone on here start watching in 2004?
  8. Actually this is quite funny: http://www.newsbiscuit.com/2014/03/21/incredulity-as-chelseas-assets-still-not-frozen/
  9. Something about this in the papers tomorrow, I have a horrible feeling this won't end well for us.
  10. I think with nasty goings on in Russia and Ukraine and the threats to freeze the assets of oligarchs close to Putin, you may have seen the end of our spending for some time.
  11. I'm all for that, I really am. My concern is that I believe Roman converted his loans to the club into debt, and if his assets are frozen it may impact on the club.
  12. Western military will be flying over Ukraine airspace for the foreseeable future.
  13. Some prominent Russians have had their assets frozen, if they go further following today's atrocity then Abramovich could be targetted
  14. Because Roman is linked to Putin
  15. Not sure how this Russia/Ukraine nightmare will evolve, but I can see it having serious implications for Chelsea.
  16. Saw him a couple of times last season and was not impressed, Blackman looks much better
  17. Same lad that got plenty of goals for Derby.
  18. Much as it pains me to say it I thought Rio was good
  19. Utd won't be threatening us this season? What planet are you from?
  20. Never ceases to amaze me that some people think that everything Mourinho does is genius and anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. Lukaku needs to be given some hope that he will get a chance this season but it seems Jose doesn't like him so we've signed Suarez Mark2 instead.
  21. You are indeed but just quoting stats is irrelevant, he was an incredible player when he was young. He may have only got two England caps while Frank has over 100, but did you ever see Frank get a match review like that, and against the World Champions too. I'm sure I am in a minority of one on here but that bothers me not, he was brilliant. And for avoidance of doubt I think Lampard is too
  22. I know he was a Stoke player. If you never saw him before the drink took it's toll how can you have an opinion, same as I can't have an opinion on the players who wore No 8 before my time, which probably included Jimmy Greaves
  23. Sorry it was 1975: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football-hudson-tries-to-harness-his-genius-i-would-love-to-get-hold-of-a-smaller-club-and-make-them-big---people-say-i-couldnt-handle-the-modern-game-thats-rubbish-1393444.html
