Cahill was phenomenal, My man of the match. The game played out exactly how I thought it would. We defended very well for a change and looked dangerous on the counter. Despite others opinions I fealt Torres put in a good shift as well, the guy worked his ass off. We definitely need a top class ST at the club but I'm not convinced we could land one in January unless we cough up like 70 mill for falcao. need 6 points at home now vs Swansea n sh*tepool. I agree.Ramires is the first name on the teamsheet atm next to cech. My opinion of course but I believe Jose holds a similar opinion. Rambo is key!

If I'm being 100% honest I feel this thread is pretty stupid as well and question your reasoning behind creating it. 1 cashley is entitled to a personal life him partying with some ppl at his former club dosnt bother me. 2 Mata issue is not an issue in my opinion at all. he's been in mediocore form sll season and I don't blame Jose for not always playing him. having said that, he's playing quite a bit n thers no reason to dig for conspiracy theories or pay attention to stupid tabloids. 3. Luiz is another non issue. at first he was being rotated with cahill and actually seemed to have the edge over gary until he had a some sh*t performances. Then Cahill was placed back in the lineup which is only fair. Form is what should dictate llsying time not sentiment. Then david was injured so obviously he couldn't play. Hes jus getting back in to the swing of things now. be patient. if he deserves to play he will. Basically what I'm saying is be patient and back your club and manager. Hes the best manager in football let him build his team. We ars a good team and possess a very talented squad but this is still an extdemely young team ins transition. Torres has to start. when he's played he's playing well..and he's scoring. Etoo looking decent against cardiff n scoring a goal dosnt warrant a start vs city. Need to see more of that from Etoo.

To be frank this topic is a jk. Avb was a disaster at Chelsea and burned bridges with players who ended up being key for Rdm in winning Europe's biggest prize! I don't think he's necessarily a horrible manager but not Top Club level. The y*ds is a appropriate level for him

thought Torres was brilliant and if he plays lkke that Jose will continue to play him. he absolutely needs to start against steau in the cl. then hopefully etoo or ba can fill in well next weekend in the league.

Torres or Ba vs the y*ds. Etoo has been piss poor. nvm goals or shots on net..has etoo even beaten 1 player in a one on one yet? does he link up with fhe midfield or create for others? he gets tossed aside with ease in any shoulder to shoulder challenge. if I'm being honest I wouldn't even have him on the bench atm. if etoo starts I fear we may lose to match.

Fernando is working hard and creating a lot for the team. he deserves to play against Tottenham.

im actually quite nervous about the match. i truly hate tottenham so losing is def not an option, i really wonder if Jose will consider a point a good result. I believe a point this early in the season wud be a decent result but im hoping avbs stupid ass attacks us and we bite them on the counter. The lineup will be interesting to see, but if etoo does start ahead of torres again i think we mayb in trouble, I have heard ppl say in the past that playing with fernando is like playin with 10 men....well Etoo is truly that atm, mayb he will eventually find some form but atm he is shocking to watch, Torres whether he scores or not will work hard n link up well with the midfield something Etoo seems incapable of at the moment. completely agree with bluehatter. Torres isn't the longterm answer but in the short term here and now he's our best striker. we just have fo accept that for the time being.

cech gk rb ivanovic(dave) cb luiz(cahill) cb terry lb cole dm mikel cm rambo(kdb) cam mata lw hazard rw oscar st torres for me automatic starters are cech, cole (only because we have no one better), mikel- provides the grit in midfield no one else is capable of, when mikel dosnt play we are so soft in midfield its scary. mata-needs to start every match possible as he is our unquestionable best playmaker. hazard -deAdly when playing out wide with mata as distributor. torres- imo our best striker by a long shot, his link up play with the midfield is the best , creates room for others to score, best defensively of the strikers. none of the 3sts are the long-term solution! that's 6 players that should be starting every single match possible imo. the rest of the positions can be rotated more frequently but these mentioned should be sutomatic when fit.

I think the major problem is as some of you have stated is Jose dosnt yet know his best 11. and i truly believe Mata is not 100% and once he is he will be first choice. A major concern for me ATM is left back because cashley seems to be on a constant decline with age and we dont have anyone better( i dont believe bertrand is the solution)....It is also clear to me that Mikel needs to start almost every single match as he provides the dirty work which other players in our squad are incapable of providing and hes actually a better distributor of the ball then ppl give him credit for. Also i dont belive any of the ST we have is a longterm solution but for me atm our best st is Torres by a mile. Our link up play with midfield to forward is best when Torres plays. Ba can provided some nice things if given a run out once in awhile, n to be honest i dont see sh*t coming from Etoo as i think hes past it and also too feeble for the english game, That is all.
