Tough love for RLC! Gonna come back raring to go!!

Cuadrado - Chelsea's #23
The way I see it- Cuadrado was a stop-gap after letting Schurrle leave. Really a no-lose situation. Rented him for a season and can find a long term replacement if it's not him. Won't be losing very much money on him, if at all. And he got his BPL title. Win-win.

Captained costa. Sold Coleman. Jumped into the top 50 after today!

The Shed End Fantasy Football League
I'm in, too.

Strikers
Fair enough. I do still think we can cope missing him for the odd game or two. Our midfield and backs are better than last season too.
-
Strikers
I don't understand. Why is it highly likely? He only missed one league match last year through suspension. And that was from yellow card accumulation. And he recovers from injury quickly.

Pre-Season 2014/15
I'd have to disagree. I'm loving watching the young players integrated with the first team.

Cesc Fabregas
Could almost include Hazard on that list now. Stepped up a lot this year.

Courtois will not play if we draw Atletico
I'd say the conflict of interest is more with atletico. Do they play him or honor the contract? Looking to get him back on loan. Also, where's the motivation to loan players to big clubs if a contract can just be ignored when the clubs face each other?

Courtois will not play if we draw Atletico
UEFA has been getting it wrong for years. Always in they're best interest, not protecting sanctity of the game. Ireland-France anyone? Huge conflict of interest here on a few levels. Doesn't make sense.

Would we have won the league with Sturridge up front?
This "What Could've Been" thread is very appropriate for Valentine's Day haha

How big is our support worldwide now?
Agreed. Support in the States is picking up. Now that NBC broadcasts every BPL game, it's going to make huge strides. Metlife Stadium and Yankee Stadium were packed with Chelsea supporters for the pre-season and post-season tours last summer.

Transfer windows
I agree, the January window definitely encourages panic buys. There's no way we would've gotten as much for Mata during the upcoming summer if he hadn't increased his role during the spring. United were desperate and wouldn't be able to do anything to save the season after this week. That said, I do like the window. Desperate teams get more desperate, and comfortable teams can be more frugal and tweak what they need for the run-in. I think we did a great bit of business addressing our needs the last couple of weeks. Plus, there is a bit of excitement following deadline day all day long.

Everything that Mata's
Mata is cup-tied in Champions League, anyway, I believe. So he would not be playing against us at all this year.
-
Everything that Mata's
We basically trolled them both at the same time with Willian
-
Everything that Mata's
Yea, what is this 3rd party business? And how do I get that job?!
-
Everything that Mata's
Would still love to see Mata play in front of Matic

Everything that Mata's
Are you suggesting he is selling a player he doesn't use so that he can step into United and not use Mata again there? Your argument makes very little sense, sir.

Everything that Mata's
Would really love if this turned out to be Mou trolling United. That stunt with Willian was fantastic.
-
Everything that Mata's
Not for nothing, but Mou's player management and letting unhappy players leave is surely good practice and a reason so many want to play for him. It would suck if he went to United, but they're willing to pay way more than anyone else right now, and let's be honest, they won't really be contenders until they up 3-4-5 new players.
