This argument makes me laugh every time! No champion has ever finished lower than 3rd the season before. In other words the champion has always been involved in Europe, which clearly doesn't make sense sine you're all banging the "It's so easy to win when not in Europe" drum. You're remembering it wrong... Suarez was bought to compliment Torres, we bought him in the middle of January, Torres was sold on the last day of the window. When Torres sulked off to you (thank god!) we then panicked and bought Andy freaking Carroll for 35m. Thanks for Sturridge though!

As a Liverpool supporter (queue the hate! I can take it ) I'm torn between what I want for a result here. The optimist in me says I want Spurs to win but the realist says go Chelsea... I don't think we can catch you for the title so securing top 4 would be great. Top 3 (bring on the Arsenal slide!) even better as I don't want to have to sweat the playoff round next season in the CL.
