Motm Vs Liverpool
Mikel for me again, he really is coming along this season, i do feel he should come forward more. Also an honourable mention for Di Santo, not an easy situation to come into as a youngster, but grew into the game and actually troubled their defence towards the end, some nice build ups too...

Motm Vs Man City
Ricky C for me, great goal, some very important tackles. Everyone played pretty well but i felt Malouda and Anelka were a bit lacking for most of the game. Anelka's goal though showed the way we should play to him in future...

Youth Cup Final
I thought Sergio Tejera looked very promising in midfield tonight along with Stoch and Kakuta, it would be good to see them getting a run out with Sahar and Sinclair next season

The Chelsea Cycle
Oh man, i had just typed a lengthy reply to this and i've lost it, god damm back space key!! in short i would say we are in the depths of a recession right now using that cycle, despite our league and champions league position, the fans aren't happy, the players aren't happy, the management clearly aren't happy. Depending on what happens over the next month or so we could be entering a period of recovery or the recession could be set to continue...

Why isn't Frank happy?
The funniest bit though, pay attention to Number 19... Darren Bent on £90k a week. Thats outrageous!

match thread - FA Cup away to Barnsley (8/3/08)
Whenever we lost a game, we blame the players but not the manager, then Tom, DIck and Harry can be Chelsea manager, not only you. 2 cups in a row, so we still blame the players? hey, how the hell can you blame grant here? he fielded a full strength side against barnsley, what more do you want? he couldnt play lamps because hes injured and he couldnt play drogba because hes crap. he made the sub we all would have, 3 at the back, full attack mode and brought on pizarro who plays very well linkup between midfield and is a good striker anyways and took off the inneffective malouda. so what can you bitch about there? managing a football isn't just picking it.... if it was we'd all be managing football teams.

How many times can we keep blaming the players, Grant has the managerial contract, and that includes motivating players, Liverpool at home, Olympiakos away, big games where the players didn't turn up. At the end of the day the buck stops at Grant, and it's pretty clear that he can't do it when it really matters. arghhhhhhh

match thread -- Olympiacos v. Chelsea -- 1st leg (19-2-08)
In which case he should not have started, Anelka could have done a holding job. Also what is the point of Malouda? He brings nothing to the side, bar a couple of token shots tonight he didn't run at people or creating anything and any set piece he was involved in wasn't worth the effort. I fail to see what he offers above Sinclair at this point in time. Also leaving the subs till so late in the game when it was obvious nothing was going to change was also a major frustration!!!
