Reserved seat E,W& N Stands 12,200. Unreserved bench seats West Stand 3,300. Terrace Accomodation standing 41,500 . Standing Enclosure East Stand 3000.

When I started going 77/78 we had the old terrace barriers for the last year. When they were done 78/79 the Shed was around 12,500 the North stand held 11,700 the West Stand 4,000 seats 4,000 benches East Stand 11,000 Giving us 43,200 capacity. With segregation taken into account down the North stand, we only sold out Dippers 78+ 82 fa cup.   79 + 82 against spuds.

Shed held more than the North Terrace, but not sure by how much. Would adjust guesstimate to about 22,000. The Kop I think held 26,000.

First time watching Chelsea at Wembley for a lot of us. Fifty thousand odd Chelsea. A West Ham mate, whose a bit of a case came with us that day. He narrowly avoided a kickin for singing West Ham songs on a packed tube.
Not bad value, a fiver for a Wembley final.
