At this point I would rather spend it on a position & player we actually NEED. I am totally happy to be proven wrong by Pedro if he joins, but my opinion is the above. I'll leave it at that because we clearly won't agree on it and believe it or not I'm not here to argue with fellow Chelsea fans although I'm not one of those people who thinks I have to agree with other Chelsea fans just because we support the same club. He is actually a very good passer of the ball tbf, he was overshadowed by Defour for a while in Belgium but because of Defours injuries and Witsels physical stature he has changed it.I would question us needing another dirty player though, I think we have a fair quota of required dirty players ;)

Not as the same ilk as JT but Cesc has already done it for Arsenholes. Hazard is captain of Belgium and I would say both lead on the pitch. Cahill is a carbon copy of JT though, granted.

I stand by the fact I wouldn't pay that for Pedro, I would much rather spend it, & more on a player that would actually improve us as a team - Griezmann, Verratti, Matuidi, Koke, maybe even a young RB. If it was less money maybe, but we already have players who are hard to tackle, good on the ball & provide goals. He would be another Schurrle, De Bruyne, even Salah. I still don't see how he will get us 15 extra goals. At Barca he had Messi etc. The teams us around us have to improve more than we do, and I don't see Pedro making more of a difference to our overall quality and balance like other players would.

haha great stuff. Why get Falcao in if we want to use Pedro as a second striker? Fabregas is a better 2nd striker than Pedro, hell even Oscar & we are forgetting Remy and even Solanke. I genuinely don't think he would bring us 15 goals, I don't see it, at Barca he has had a different style of player to play with. It's literally a matter of style of football played. I know what a buy-out clause is, and I still wouldn't pay it for Pedro. Schurrle is arguably better than Pedro - neither have been given the fair amount of chances to show fully what they can do though. I dont think homegrown should just be seen as a bonus, I think it was quite well thought out. But you are right, he is one of the best keepers in the league :).

The homegrown factor was the biggest factor in signing him. We were linked with Rudd, who isn't terrible but I think its fair to say this is a double whammy with him being a great keeper - he should have gone to Liverpool but they signed Mignolet so I'm very happy.

Don't think he offers anything more than we already have - I'd rather see Cuadrado given a chance tbh.

I'd love to see Isco but I think it would mean seeing Cuadrado and/or Oscar going. Both linked back to Italy recently.

Not sure how I feel about it, very similar to Matic. Although better than Mikel and Ramires.

I'd very much like to see him come in. Experienced player with something about him. Better than Ramires & Mikel in that role too. Although I wouldn't want to see RLC's progression stumped by it.
