as I have said before on other topics on here,, the rot started way back in jan.. the team was misfiring and jose new that he had to change the set up of the side or risk blowing the title ....he did that and we limped over the line...I hope he gets some time to stop the decline and prove that he can take a club forward from diversity.....but I saw a man visibly shaken yesterday a shadow of the mourinho we all love....this will have a profound effect on the players .. who quite rightly look to him in times of adversity....I believe we will win on weds as expected but defeat against arsenal could trigger the end of our love affair with the special one...

been going through a shed load of old programs.. fond memorys of the great team of the late sixties .to the abosulte crap of the skint era,,,bill garner teddy maybank.. john sissons who west ham let go because he was totally gone....gary locke who sat on the ball pissed off with the crap around him when waiting to take a free kick ....but it was still my Chelsea .all the new era is fantastic with trophys galore the old bridge full every game and the club a super power in the modern game ..but how I miss the real Chelsea .....

a reality check is needed..20 yrs ago a league title was about as likely as elvis turning up at the local tescos... fast forward on to today 4 titles numerous cups..and the club standing in the worlds elite ...expectation of winning trophys is now the norm ..I am from the era that gave us the likes of ossie Charlie bonetti etc in the good yrs .and the lesser players who came in the after ..to the mcreadie side who gave us our pride back...enjoy watching world class players week in week out at the bridge ..it wont last forever nothing does..

no way jose.....can any Chelsea fan hand on heart say we can go on a run of say 10.15 games unbeaten ..city have had the start we got last season,,we are not the first club to have title hangover the following season..i would be more worried that its 8 months since we trounced anyone Swansea away...a long dark winter awaits but stay calm and trust mr mourinho

we won the league last season thanks to one man .mourinho...the side was going backwards from jan , and any other manager would have struggled to lift the title .only his tactical brilliance pushed us over the line....after yesterdays setback he gave a thinly veiled attack on the board for not implementing the changes needed after his imput..... that's where we are today ...massive 2 games coming up with the distinct possibility that we will be in the bottom 3 after 6 games....

hope we stay at the bridge....its our home ..a 60 thousand stadium sounds great at the mo....but would be worried if the club takes a backward step after abramovich,,,if we could fill it ...hard core Chelsea around 30thou..........

always the early 70s ....went to my first match just after the demolition of the west stand 3 sided ground who remembers the opening home game with leeds ..estimated 55 thousand packed in ..with thousands on the old running track.....4.0 win to boot ..happy days
