West Ham V Chelsea (PL) Sun 23rd Sep 13:30 UK
JJP replied to coco's topic in Coco's Chelsea FC Match Chat
Hazard nice and rested to tear apart the west ham defence. Barkley to start over Kovacic and RLC to come on second half. Would be nice to see Christensen come in but I doubt thats happening -
Nobody asked you to chime in so, hows about f**king off? After the amount of stick bakayoko and Morata got over the past year, you're gonna come at me for having a pop at DD? Show yourself out plebeian
-
His performances have averaged out to about a solid 4/10. He could at least try live up to the price, but nope. Just another wasted 35m to go along with Baka's 40m who people love to slag off on here
-
Coming from the buffoon with Pickle Rick as his display picture? Please find the nearest cliff
-
Because its one of the worst 35m ever spent anywhere along with Andy Carroll
-
Tbf in that sense, he's exactly what we need. If Rudiger is the CB that drives forward from the back, we need someone to stay back and I think Christensen is perfect in that sense. A true classic CB. Just needs to work on his strength a little and he'll be a world class CB soon
-
Barkley is a great player to have, perfect as a MF sub to come on for the likes of Kovacic or Kante and also to start lesser games like these. He's actually really good in that sense. Much better than stinkwater and Bakayoko. We need to get rid of them both

Barkley has been good so far and so has Rudi. Nothing really worrying so far apart from Morata -
PAOK Salonika V Chelsea (EL) Thurs 20th Sep 17:55 UK
JJP replied to coco's topic in Coco's Chelsea FC Match Chat
Was just about to post this, fairly happy with the lineup but as you said its disappointing not to see CHO and Ampadu. Was also hoping for a RLC start, but its clear he'll be coming on in the second half (I hope) Either way, good to see Christensen-Rudiger at the back as a pairing. I suppose this will be the toughest game of the group, so if we destroy them then the other games we can play a even weaker side -

Ampadu, Christensen, Willian, Barkley, RLC and Zappacosta all to start I hope -
Hazard, Luiz and Kovacic being rested and so are a couple of others, good news for RLC, CHO and Christensen? I hope so
-
Practically Barcelona with the amount of possession we seem to have! Didn't even realise it was that much either
-
I think at the beginning we can afford to play weaker teams and still win very comfortably, I mean the teams we're up against in the group stages are hardly difficult. However coming into the KO stages (depending on who we play) we have to bring in more and more of our regular starters
-
Surely one of the best players thats ever played for us?
-
Where will we finish this coming season? And what will be your top 6?
JJP replied to Old Shaggy's topic in General Chelsea FC
Ill judge this better once we've played against Liverpool, if we can play very well and get a point or 3 from the game then we have a good chance of winning the league -
Fifa Planning To Limit The Number Of Players On Loan
JJP replied to JJP's topic in General Chelsea FC
Seems like it, not to mention we’ll be buying less players in general if it means we can’t loan them out! Sometimes we seem to buy a fairly young player with the sole purpose of loaning them -
Fifa Planning To Limit The Number Of Players On Loan
JJP replied to JJP's topic in General Chelsea FC
Exactly. Outside of us losing a few million in potential sales I really can't see a downside to this. We won't be unnecessarily paying loans for players who will never play for us, and also saves us money from panic buys -
Fifa Planning To Limit The Number Of Players On Loan
JJP replied to JJP's topic in General Chelsea FC
Couldnt agree more, Im one of those who really hope this gets implemented! That way we can focus on actually loaning out worthwhile players and not some of the garbage we have out atm. If I was to pick 8, they would be: Kenedy, Zouma, Bats, RLC, Tammy (21 next month), Musonda, Baka (only because we paid a lot), Clarke-Salter (21 next week) Was tough to narrow the whole list down to 8, but when you really think about it, there's a lot of trash being olaned out that will never make out first team so whats even the point? -
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2795569-fifa-reportedly-plans-to-reduce-number-of-players-who-can-be-loaned-out Article states that if this goes through, then clubs will only be able to loan out 8 players who are over the age of 21. There is however, no limit onhomegrown players under the age of 21. The real question is, given our current crop of loan players, which 8 over the age of 21 would you keep to loan out? And which will end up being released

Cant really have Kante as a con, despite the point you're trying to make
-
Rather they didnt just so Alonso has more rest time tbh
-
RLC as a LW? Dont think thats happening
