Renato sanches
Think he'd be great for a 1 or 2 year loan w/ option to buy. Try him out, see how he adapts. A lot of potential in this kid. Under Conte, I think he'd become a beast. Seems Bayern are pretty willing to let him go, but I just don't know if we could provide him the 1st team football that he wants. That would be the only thing hindering a deal for us imo.

Alvaro Morata
He's a winner. He'll want to continue winning. Hard worker and wants/deserves to be a starter. Let's go.

Alvaro Morata
love the banter, but it seems like this one will be different. Conte signs new contract, Morata deal agreed about 24 hours later. Seems like he wants this done quickly now.

haha the state of that...

Romelu Lukaku
I would still like to see Morata. I am quite indifferent about this. I don't know how I feel yet. Lukaku is invisible in big games and only had 3 goals vs. the top 6 last year (2 of which were against Man City's horrid defense). Morata has great UCL experience while Lukaku does not. I don't write off Lukaku's skill/potential but you have to imagine we would/should be pushing for someone more like Morata...

Corentin Tolisso
I really hope that we actually bid for him, but most likely not true considering the source.

Alvaro Morata
I would love to see Morata come to Chelsea. This transfer rumor has been going back and forth for a while now, but I think he'd be a very solid signing.

Andrea Conti
Assuming Kyle Walker will most likely be going to City (at least not to us), I think this would be a great signing. I've been watching him play, could fit in nicely.

They could be interested in lowering it for us if we send them Traore or Zouma on loan.

- £150M for being on the box
Big money, could really help our transfer market this summer. Makes you think how vital that playoff-win payout to Huddersfield will be for their premier league campaign.- Corentin Tolisso
Thanks! Could be even cheaper if we send them someone in return/on-loan. Could also be a cheaper alternative to Bakayoko, or a steal for more squad depth. UCL football definitely talks, as does money.- Corentin Tolisso
Anyone know what kind of price tag OL would be looking for? Considering we don't send anyone in return. I've heard rumors of Traore or Zouma going to them for a bumper. Seems like a quality player with an eye for goal, don't know much about him, however. Conte seems to like French deep-lying/defensive midfielders. Whether it's Bakayoko, Tolisso, or both, could get along well with Kante.- Tiémoué Bakayoko
For those worried about the potential attacking threat, or lack there of, need I remind us all that Conte transformed Kante into a player who was vital to our counter-attack/attacking abilities. i.e. the goal against West Ham. Now, I am not comparing Baka and Kante whatsoever, I am just suggesting the possibilities of improvement under a manager like Conte. Baka might not be slamming screamers into the back of the net, but a ball-winnning/controlling midfielder, with the help of Conte, could prove vital to our midfield. (Especially with the inconsistency of Matic) With someone like Fabregas on the pitch, ability on the ball would not be a huge concern. Where as if it was Baka and Kante together, that would be quite the stalwart of a midfield. Multiple options for depth and different games. I think it would be a quality signing.- Greetings from the U.S.
Hey there fellow Chelsea FC Fans! I finally made the decision that I would start discussing on a forum fan site, since I don't get enough exposure over here in the U.S. I have resorted to twitter and facebook for the past 5+ years, but I'm getting sick of the community on there. I've been a Chelsea fan ever since I can remember, probably dating back to around '01-'02, when I began playing football. To be honest, I have no connection to London or the UK (even though I have visited multiple times). However, I am very happy that my young and past self was attracted to the blue and white colors and that beautiful logo. For many years to come, it turned out my decision to root for them was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have seen Chelsea play over here in the states every time they come here for pre-season, traveling all across the country. Fun facts: I have met the entire Chelsea team 2 separate times when they have come over to the U.S. for pre-season, have been retweeted and replied-to by the Chelsea FC official twitter account, and have multiple types of signed memorabilia (including a team-signed jersey from Munich, my utmost prized possession). Probably on a short list of U.S. fans who could compare to my fan-ship... Anyway, I'm excited to get debating/discussing and I look forward to the time ahead. Come on you blues!
