We have met with Lyon about the sale of Traore, but also enquired about Tolisso. I'm not gonna lie, I know next to nothing about him and never watched him play. Thoughts? 

 

Tolisso would be a very good signing, we need a midfielder who has an eye for goal, he is also a good passer and comfortable in possession and can put a foot in, still young so will only get better.

He's a younger Moussa Dembele, yes please, all day, I'd prefer him to Bakayoko, same age and much better technically

Would be a good signing. They are interested in loaning Traore and Zouma so a deal could be done. Not so sure it would be good for Traore's Chelsea future but Zouma certainly needs a loan. Always easier for a deal to be done when both sides benefit.

He's absolutely good enough to start for us ahead of Matic, he's had a brilliant season this year for Lyon, he's strong, can score goals, and has a great range of passing, while not afraid to put his foot in. No way we're signing this fella to go on loan.

Then I'm all for it! 

I only thought he may go on loan because of Bakoyoko as we're looking more and more likely to sign him, surely we can't play all 3 of Kante, Bako and Tolisso

If we were to sign both then I imagine Bakayoko would be rotated with Tolisso, but in bigger games Tolisso can play a more advanced role in a 3-5-2 if we were to line up like this

That makes sense, but not sure if Conte would be willing to take out Pedro! Either way, he seems like a good player. But I feel bad for players like Chalobah and Baker who won't really have any games next season

Who is our best CB? I'd argue Luiz's performance this season further suggests he can't play in a back 4, Azpi 'compliments' the back 3 without being a specialist CB (and has proven his worth for us at LB under Mourinho), and Cahill still has a mistake in him in the big games.

Imho I don't think it's inconceivable we'll play with a back 4 next season, Conte has said in the past he doesn't care for a back 3 or a back 4... just whatever works best for the team?

i don't see zouma fitting in here tbh. with christensen returning and us maybe looking at one other cb, he's not going to see much game time. he is also pretty bad with the ball at his feet, which won't work well for us. 

Well we should put a buy back fee in place for traore but I could see this being his sale, plus Zouma bring loaned, and a pile of cash going to them if this happens.

Can see it happening in the CL, the reason Antonio shifted to a back three in the first place is because none of the defense bar Azpi are good enough to play back four. Hopefully we see tactical variety next season, 343, 352, 424 and 433 can all be come up useful.
