It's possible the new kit deal is a factor but I don't think the club will deliberately hold up any deal because of a kit. Players sign in normal clothes all the time.

The new kit theory is a ridiculous one.  The only reason why the club hasn't announced any signings yet is either the Board hasn't signed anyone - yet.  Conte wouldn't be grumbling about the lack of progress in signings if it was just the new kit holding up an announcement.

Is he grumbling? Any direct quotes from him? Or just bollocks snippets from red top rag tabloids?

Its the quietest part of the football calendar...these hacks will write anything to pass the time.

I like Dahoud, he's very talented. I prefer Weigel however. I like the way he plays. Minimalist, no frills, just get the job done.
