  1. That's a simplistic way of looking at it. Jorginho has been awful this season when he's played, his days are numbered and that's that. Jorginho isn't going to help our current situation.
  2. Is this really the standard now though? Should we not be pushing for and demanding better? I do agree that anyone who expects a title challenge is being unrealistic, but we have to see an improvement. This absolute state that we are in right now, doesn't really give me much of an improvement, it looks the same. The keeper situation is sorted, brilliant, but the players are switching off again at pivotal moments. I'm not asking for Frank to be sacked, not right now with the games we've got. But I do think the club should be shortlisting managers and making calls to prepare, which they no doubt will be. I don't want to see this team to slump to the bottom half of the table come January and February, that will be awful.
  3. Sadly with Tammy it's one of them, when it rains it pours. When he's bad he looks BAD. Can't stop falling over, can't win a header, can't be seen anywhere, never anticipates anything. The number of times you see a cross just go by him.

Exactly.... The writing was on the wall for ages. Havertz was terrible just as he came back, but Frank started him in both games against Everton and Wolves which absolutely f**ked us over big time. It took him until Wolves to realise Havertz isn't helping the team, he's helping the other team with his form. Werner hasn't scored in what 10 games now? He keeping missing valuable opportunities and on top of that he's f**king woeful in the build up play. It shouldn't take him this long to realise that Werner on the left isn't working. And that's me being kind, because we don't know that for sure, we could be looking at Werner on the starting sheet again against Villa. I just don't know anymore, I don't get why CHO is sidelined all the time when he's a good talent and an actual winger. It's stuff like this that's f**ked us up this month.
  5. I do agree with a lot of points there. But let's not sugarcoat it with "other teams are doing bad" we are rapidly falling behind now, and another two defeats could have us in the bottom half which is very likely. If he loses his next two games, how do you defend that? That's not an imporvement on last season, we've gone backwards, that's unacceptable. Frank did really well in his first season, and before this sh*te month he was doing well again. But we have to be improving, a title challenge? No, I don't think so. But our expectations have definitely improved given the money we have spent. If this is happening again where the team goes to sleep after about 13/14 games, how do we trust the manager to sort this out next season when we absolutely must mount a title challenge? If he can keep losing the players like this at such pivotal moments. I'm sorry, I know we love Frank, and it's a dream come true having him be successful here. But we can't accept results and performances like that, a loss against Villa would be an absolute disaster, because if we lose against them, we have bob hope against City, that will be what? 1 win in 6? and 5 losses? On the bounce? Not good enough.
  6. Even though I am agreeing with what you're saying. I also agree with them on this point, it's annoying to see the same people only come on here when we lose. What sort of message does that send exactly? Two types of people who do it. 1. Negative and Reactionary fans, 2. Trolls. Neither are good to have, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and go with 1. But for me this match is the tipping point, I can't look at that result and performance and be optimistic of the future under Frank, I'm not sure how anyone else can to be honest, I envy them.
  7. The most dissapointed I've been with Frank has come against Arsenal all 3 times. The 2-2 game was embarrassing on every front, they had 10 men for about 80 minutes, I didn't think anything could top that but low and behold we do it again in a much worse fashion. The F.A. Cup I felt like it was a right bottlejob, they had big help from the referee and injuries on our side but still, it was a bottle job. This has just about topped it, they must f**king love Lampard.
  8. I agree, I think he would be an awful choice. We still need a progressive manager, but a proven one who's actually won things.
  9. I envy how you can be optimistic after a performance and result like that. But I just can't see it, if we can play that bad against such a sh*te side, there's truly no hope this team can be title challengers under Frank. It's happening again, last season it was all going great until November and we hit a slump, it's the same once again this season. Because realistically, this is our November given the one month delay this season. It's just not good enough, and I don't see the evidence for how that can be turned around. This is a results business, I don't think we should sack Frank given the fixtures we've got coming up. But the board right now should be aiming to make a replacement and shortlisting the best available managers that can utilise this group of players to their best ability. No way on this earth should we be losing to a side like that with the players we have, absolutely no way, but it's happened. People talk about Klopp and Pep in their first years in the PL, but Klopp and Pep were already proven winners and built World Class teams, Lampard started management just over two years ago and hasn't won anything, and given the recent performances it's starting to make sense. I'm not going to pretend that other managers haven't had bad spells here, like Conte or Mourinho, but they still won things. With the team that we have, there's no way we should be playing this badly or losing the games we are, we have to be doing better.
  10. I can't disagree with any of that. The issue with Kante is, if he's not playing well, nobody else can successfully perform that DM role. So we may aswell just go on the attack after being 2-0 down. Kante should've been hooked over Kovacic imo. Either way, nobody played well today, besides maybe Pulisic and CHO.

Doubtful, it's took him this long to realise it. But I tell you what if I see Werner on the left side against Villa on the starting lineup I'm going to throw my telly out the window. So good luck to the poor sod who walks by my house then.
  12. Kante was a lot worse that game, his worst of the season, but no doubt that will be overlooked by the usual people.
  13. How can you even say that and look at the team Arsenal played compared to ours? We weren't terrible, we were absolutely sh*te, gargantuan piles of sh*te. We could only score 1 goal against a back 3 of Holding, Mari and Tierney? Xhaka and Eleneny in the middle, and their attack? Jesus... I can't even think about it without wanting to be sick.
  14. One part of this that really annoys is me that we've just gave Arsenal a new found belief and confidence. They'll probably kickstart now, what a f**king bottlejob that was. I'm still absolutely fuming, genuinely can't believe we lost that the way we did. I thought the 2-2 was embarrassing but f**k me... This is something else.
  15. No he means it, and so do I. He's hopeless at the moment, can't finish, can't play football. In this current system when we have the most possession, he can't play out wide. He has limited space to run onto, and even when he gets in good opportunities he isn't finishing, he's messing up our best opportunities. As bad as Willian looks for Arsenal right now, I would take Willian over him today.
  16. A bit of an understatement. We just lost to a bunch of kids and one of Arsenals worst team in decades. I don't know how anyone here can defend him. Even if you're a big defender of Lampard, you can't defend this game. It's been sh*t for a while now but this is something else.
  17. It was a wake up call really. A slump is a slump but this is just ridiculous. The last 3 games before today can be excused, but today can't. Let's just stop beating around the bush, Lampard is getting the sack. There's no way he's going to salvage anything with our next two fixtures, I can't see how he stays with another two defeats.
  18. Yeah because Kante was also world class today wasn't he.
  19. Or why can't we just bench Werner completely and play an actual winger there who is like one of our best players if not the best. Then play CHO on the right until Ziyech is fit.
  20. People can say what they want about all the new accounts coming in, but you've been saying this for over a year. And I know we've had a lot of disagreements, both personal and football, but it looks like you were spot on in this assessment. I still think you were overly critical though, but I have to cut you some slack now.
  21. I knew it, I've been dreading this game for a while because I had a horrible nasty feeling. But this is the turning point. Same mistakes from Lampard to play out of form players in a position they aren't delivering in. Playing our best player in the wrong position. Where do we go from here seriously? Is this really good enough? Call me fickle, but I said this before the match. And I've said it all month, I'm quite sick of repeating myself. I've cut him a lot of stick over the injuries, but we only have one player missing... Arsenal were riddled with injuries and played a C team and have absolutely tonked us. There's no excuses for that, it looks to me that Frank is out of his depth here. Any other manager would be getting the axe for that result. I did see a slump coming, but this is just over the top, you can't be having results like that. We've invested big, we can't let that go to waste, that game has just sealed the deal for me. Because I just can't envision how we are going to win silveware with performances like that, absolutely embarrassing performance, I'm gutted.
  22. It's getting that way now mate. Sarri gets loads of abuse on here but Sarri still won a trophy here and people forget that, he tore Arsenal a new one in the final. Although having said that, I'm glad Sarri is gone also, I didn't care for him as manager. But any other manager would be getting the knife right now. I can forgive bad results here and there, but this is getting ridiculous, it's only going to get worse also. We've been sh*t since the Everton game when we started having injuries. But the only player we have out now is Ziyech, is that really an excuse to play like this? Come the f**k on, this just plain isn't good enough.
  23. Do you think this is all luck? Me and many others were saying this before the game, he keeps making the same mistakes and on top of that we are woeful going forward at the moment. You can't defend Frank now after this game, this is on him.
  24. Don't blame you tbh. I turned the game off against Bayern last season when we were 2-0 down in about 20 minutes and I got abuse on here for it. What difference does it make? We're not at the game anyway.
