I'm reading that Roma fans protested against the club about the potential sale of Edin Dzeko to Chelsea after their loss to Sampdoria. Apparently they all wish he stays because they realize his value.

There is a news article about Emerson's deal being separate. No longer including Dzeko as a double deal. It's not hard to imagine getting Emerson without Dzeko though. I can see it happening.

Emerson to be unveiled by Chelsea approximately 12 to 24 hours from now. Final verdict on LWB tomorrow.

It wouldn't be so bad mixing players in their 30's with the younger players in the 1st team. I didn't highlight your entire post because it had nothing to do with what you assume I'm trying to argue. Alot of fans usually tend to let a players age cloud their judgement undermining their performance and what they can actually bring to the table. Right ?? I used Bayern as an example for those reasons.

1st team players Franck Ribery & Arjen Robben are both 34 years of age playing for Bayern Munich. Vidal will turn 31 in 3 months. They are 14 points clear on top of the Bundesliga. It wouldn't be so bad having seasoned veterans in their 30's mixed up with the younger players.

@Ernie_blue Conte wanted Llorente because they've won Serie A together in Juventus the same way Conte wanted Arturo Vidal. He's worked with both players and knows their strengths and weaknesses very well. The Andy Caroll story was pure gossip mate. Absolutely. We both know Arsenal's victory was a fluke with those lucky deflections. Willian's injury played a big part as well. It was just pure luck on Arsenal's side. Let's not jump to conclusions because we're still in the Top 4, still in the FA Cup & UEFA Champions League. I wouldn't be surprised after hearing Arsenals 2nd bid got rejected. I'd rather Aubameyang than Dzeko to be honest. Marina should consider working out a swap deal Batshuayi for Aubama.

If we don't win the Champions League, FA Cup or finish in Top 4. Chances are likely but i hope not.

Conte recently replaced Alonso with Zappacosta as a LWB in one of our previous games while keeping Moses as a RWB. I guess we can both expect Moses to play the full 90 minutes while Zappa joins in later on at some point in the 2nd half replacing Alonso.
